Thought you'd have gone for Wolbert, young fellow. That's assuming he retains his assessed 7.00 average. With the various goings-on at Elite League level this season (Screen and Frampton), his average could be set higher at the BSPA AGM. Except, of course, the presence of a certain someone on the all-powerful BSPA MC could come into play. Wouldnt be too surprised if Kevin does attract some attention re his average. Very little talent looks like coming through the UK system tbh.

Part of the problem there is, of course, the temptation to bring in ready-made talent on a low assessed average, such as Darcy Ward at King's Lynn this season. There are other examples. Leon Madsen at Poole in the higher league. The short-term nature of the sport in this country, as dictated by the punative points limit, means clubs rarely look further ahead than the next season.
