Tomas has a broken finger, but he was going to be riding on Wednesday. Sanchez had burns to his arms and possibly his legs from his crashes at Birmingham, but he rode at Scunthorpe nevertheless. Nothing was mentioned about Ward, so I assume he's fine. Incidentally, if the rider isn't 100% fit, if they're prepared to give it a go when the meetings due the next day, you dont really have much choice. It's a bit short notice to get a guest, and riders cant necessarily get medical certificates for not being 100% fit, depending on what the problem is. Simon Lambert rode with a cut across his fingers, unable to grip properly, so officially he wasn't 100% fit either. When the going gets tough, the tough get going (to their electrician it seems). It's so convenient it's scary. I personally don't buy the press release. I for once feel sorry for the Brum fans that were due to see their side in action. Rico

The KL statement has a ring of truth about it - it's not Buster who is quoted, but someone from an electrical firm. LOL defending the indefensible is turning you inside out. Chapmans for flapperjack, you know it makes sense cos genghis says the opposite.

Rhidassa is one of the fairest posters on any forum from any club. She comes across as a whiney teenager whose taken umbrage at a few cheers which happen at every track.

I had no idea early twenties still counted as being a teenager. People across the country will be pleased... Extended youth. Interpret it how you will. I had an opinion, I posted it. Dont like it, dont read it. I'd respond to your 'few cheers' comment, but I really cant be bothered anymore since it seems to be deemed acceptable to cheer a rider on the track if its because your team will gain from it. I have my opinions on it, which wont change, but no point fighting a losing battle with idiots, I've given up on the BSF now.

I just posted the rider update that I knew. Thought I'd be helpful in the little way I could. ;D

Dekker, your argument is very weak. The weather forecast for today is dreadful. If Chapman was on the fiddle, why but he not simply wait until today and rain the meeting off at lunchtime?? The electrical failure is genuine. However, you can't see to see the truth simply because of your massive bitterness towards anyone who is successful.

Tbh Pugsley i'm surprised they didnt use the weather themselves. guess they couldnt rely on it. Success has nothing to do with it, as i've said on the BSF you cant help but praise how they build the teams and how they have built the business there, but their behaviour off track leaves a lot to be desired. If you think faking illness to the extent of sneaking out of an A&E unit after getting a NHS ambulance called because your riders were late then that's fine by me.

You come across as some star crossed 14yr old tbh, if you have given up on the BSF then great. Fans have always cheered when the opposition loses out however it happens. When you pull as many stunts as the Chapmans have dont be surprised KL get it even more.

Can I also nominate all Wolves fans.......load of stinky old wrong-uns stininking of wee.......dripping their ice-creams all over the metal excuse for a grand-stand (stand being the operative word : , and flicking their fag-ash all over my children's heads.....grrr!! EDIT...oops....do we have any Wolves fans on here..... I was going to post some witty and erudite reply but I can't be arsed...why don't you fuck off you six-fingered sheep shagger!

We need to keep a firm eye on Adrian Rymel. He's pulled out ill of today's Edinburgh v Workington fixture, but there's strong rumours he will be riding on the continent tomorrow after a remarkable recovery. If so, he definitely deserves a nomination for becoming the latest rider to extract the urine out of British Speedway.

Well, in a roundabout sort of way it will be. It will be the fault of the BSPA, of which the Chapmans are members. They should've taken the firm stance their own rules demand after the Tomasz Piszcz (ironically, the rider drafted in to replace Rymel for the barbarians on Friday) affair a couple of weeks ago. A year ban for Piszcz would've had alarm bells ringing. But they decided to trash their own rules and the floodgates are now wide open. If Rymel rides tomorrow he should be subject to a one year ban in this country and Workington should be fined for trying it on. But nothing will happen. It's a fucking disgrace.

There is a difference though. Piszcz was forced to ride for his Polish club and the Brummies were forced to ride on a day they didn't want to as they knew he wouldn't be available. the rider was caught in the middle.
However Rymel is riding in an open meeting. No authority is pushing him to do that.
