Better things to come?

Whilst a lot of other speedway teams have had regular updates/statements from the team management, we at Ippo frankly haven't, but it seems at last we have a TM who is prepared to include the fans, here is the first, of hopefully many, updates from Simmo.:

I must admit, he and Chris, have been to several get togethers over the winter months, which proves I think that he is keen, and I am sure he will bring a good team ethic to the team, aided I'm sure by Johnno.

Very encouraging stuff from your new man, but one thing he said did give cause for concern. However, in his defence, it's quite possible that he too, got dragged into a conversation with Tiddles at your recent bash.

The words which caught my eye were, "I think we can certainly hold our own " hmmm ;D

Anyone get an evening star yesterday? There was a double page season preview and it was a great read. Analysis of the team individually and what each rider can bring to the team, an analysis of every club stating their strengths and weaknesses, key riders, and the main story of the Witches hopes for the new season written by Mike Bacon. Also his predictions, final table, odds etc, it was a cracking read

Probably just covering his back Kev, because believe you me their will be several "so called fans" who will have saved that to throw back in his face at the end of the season, and had he had the audacity to actually predict us to win, well you know .

He will not suffer fools gladly and I think whilst he has a gentle giant persona, just under the surface is a man who wants to win, and it is already evident that he is a very hands on TM, which has been lacking in the past.(now I am not going to say anything against Mike, but he is a totally different type of person to Pete, who is very hands on, getting into the thick of things)

Will be quite amusing seeing him interviewed by Sophie, she will have to have a step ladder, or he will probably be looking down her cleavage ;D
