Hamilton mislead the stewards. Simple as. Actually the McLaren team did - Lewis is just an employee. I still think his disqualification from the race is ridiculous - the race should end on Sunday, not the following Thursday. And FIA have handled the thing incredibly badly - why wait until Thursday? They have again come across as inconsistent, biased and unfair in their rulings.

I's like to nominate Pat Butcher - for wearing his stupid Jester hats, not managing the team nor offering any team direction/strategy.... and for his bullshit "Fortress Showground" and "Coventry running scared!" Bollocks!!

Actually the McLaren team did - Lewis is just an employee. So are saying that if you were an employee you would lie or deliberately withhold information when asked to do so? Sorry but I stand by what I said. Hamilton should have shown integrity and backbone and not cow tow to McLaren. At least McLaren had the decency to sack Dave Ryan.

ML - so, using your argument above, Edinburgh should sack THJ. I'm glad we agree. ;D

Your flogging a dead horse Genghis, being as how this is a speedway forum my choice will always be speedway based. In that case, I would like to nominate THJ for missing the Glasgow v Edinburgh match to ride in a practice session in Poland.

He was riding in Poland for his SWEDISH team that weekend, and it had been arranged for some time - the Polish meeting was just an additional appearance. Thomas being a Swede should give priority to his home country, should he not? Otherwise it rather negates your Nicholls argument.

Actually the McLaren team did - Lewis is just an employee. Using that logic I take it you no longer blame Schumacher for "parking" his Ferrari in the middle of Monte Carlo? But he told me to do it, Miss, honest.

But he told me to do it, Miss, honest. But Lewis did wrong was in the stewards' meeting after the race, with his boss by his side, telling him what to say. A bit different from Schumi's erratic parking at Monaco 2006 - where he made the decision himself (had the Ferrari team instructed him, FIA would have had the evidence and none was produced).

Schumi, I don't think he was riding for his Swedish team on Sunday was he? No, it was the 30th-1st, but like I said his appearance in Gorzow could have been part of the arrangement allowing Vetlanda practise time there. Either way, those dates had been arranged before the PL fixtures were released. But Lewis did wrong was in the stewards' meeting after the race, with his boss by his side, telling him what to say. Oh is that all? So not only is he a liar, he's got no balls either?

Yes, that's the same, isn't it? If anyone had no balls in that situation it was Barrichello.

Yes, that's the same, isn't it? If anyone had no balls in that situation it was Barrichello. Nonsense, as No. 1 driver Schumacher should have stood up to Todt and told him "No Rubens has won this one and square". He didn't stand up to Todt. And of course, by this time Schumacher had been driving in F1 for 10 years. Not like Hamilton, who may drive like a much more experienced man, but is actually still only 24 years old.
