Its a challenge meeting.
At the end of the day, who really gives a damn whether or not theres a 'lead' given, which is probably just as some sort of gimmick to make it more interesting as its only over 1 leg. And so they've called it the 'Premiership Trophy'. Its still a challenge meeting, so who really cares who wins? Its track time at the end of the day.

Well if they called it a CHALLENGE MATCH i wouldnt give a toss as i have said on the BSF im more than happy about the meeting itself as Lynn are great opposition to start your season with. But to start putting names on it that imply it has some significence to the league is what has got my back up. I also posed the question if Lynn was the league champions do you think they would of came to Edinburgh for a Premisership Trophy meeting over one leg with a 10 point advantage? I dont think they would.

They stated when they called it the Premiership Trophy exactly what the meeting was.
Nobody has suggested any link to the league. The meeting is going ahead whether you bitch continually or not, so I'd suggest you get over it. And so you've only got a 10 point advantage... at the end of the day the KL fans aren't thinking 'oh, its important, its a trophy meeting' - to us its just a challenge meeting with a fancy title designed to attract attention (what do you expect, with Chapman in charge?), and a change to see our team take to the track.
There'll be enough bollocks spouted over the season, I dont see the need to start now.

Yet again i refer you to something i said on the BSF and that is its more the newcomers to the sport that are going to be mislead by the title. You know fuck it, see you at your place you will be getting your arses kicked either way. Nice to know you have your excuses already lined up in that we had the advantage.

What excuses? I dont give a damn if Lynn or Edinburgh win. Its a nothing meeting.
And I didn't bother to read the posts on the BSF; I took one glance, ascertained the gist and decided they weren't of interest.
Apologies if I'm being excessively snappy, I'm not in the best mood. But I still think its just a challenge meeting, and you are overreacting.

Rhidassa most of my reasoning is on the BSF as to why i dont think calling it what they have is right. Also the fact that handing us a 10pt lead is insulting.
