Any news on who's going to be replacing the injured Ipswich riders, and if Dawid will be riding in this one?

Likely line up for Witches
1 Jarek Hampel 2 R/R 3 Tobi Kroner 4 Danny King 5 Piotr Swiderski 6 Dawid Stachyra 7 Carl Wilkinson
Apparently they are trying R/R for Thursday, but if it doesn't work out, they have a rider who is prepared to cover for Leigh short term. Leigh is hoping to return in 3 weeks, and 6 weeks for Kozza.

Belle Vue, I would imagine, will line up as: 1. Krzysztof Kasprzak 2. James Wright 3. Charlie Gjedde 4. Henning Bager 5. Ulrich Ostergaard 6. Steve Boxall 7. Patrick Hougaard I would hope not. Steve Boxall ought to have a prior engagement for Newcastle at Redcar. It'll be nothing short of a disgrace if he doesn't ride for the Diamonds, who are, I believe, deemed to be his main employers. Belle Vue have two "doubling-up" riders, so it ought to be Thomas H Jonasson for the Aces.

If THJ does ride then I think we have a great chance of picking up a win although with no explanation as to why he was missing from P&P I have a feeling Grajczonek will be at number 6. Not for the first time though, I could be wrong.

Not for the first time though, I could be wrong. As Rico notes, it seems that Boxall will be at Ipswich, which is just shameful on the part of all concerned. Why should anyone waste their money to travel to watch the meeting at Redcar on Thursday? Is Boxall "doubling up" or "doubling down"? Is Belle Vue his main club, or, as it should be, Newcastle? But I expect it will be Subedei's weirdity or his younger brother I'm not sure the Ipswich Kremlin or Comrade Louis could cope with such a luminous presence as His Holiness the Weirdity.

Then I offer my apologies to anyone attending the Redcar/Newcastle match tomorrow. Boxall should be riding for them as he is their Number 1. What is the point of having doubling up (or is it down?) riders when the rules for them are interpreted however they want to be. More to the point why bother having a number 8 too?
