could be one reason Sub as they werent interested last season when they were fighting for the title. Sky did approach Somerset about televising a PL meeting at the OTA last season, but due to the strict planning restrictions in place at the stadium a suitable date couldn't be found.

As for returning to Edinburgh ! are you serious ? last years showing was an absolute borefest, one of the worst meetings i have ever witnessed. That wasn't Edinburgh's fault so why should they not have another SKY meeting? If it was down to your theory of meetings being boring there wouldn't be that many on SKY

That was just pure class riding on edinburghs part. Some will say a unlucky night for tai. But either way i doubt it would of won them the meeting maybe of made it abit closer. If they are going to show edinburgh show us against a team with class. Perhaps the ko cup semi-finals between the comets and the monarchs a few weeks later would have been a better option, plenty of class on show from worky then

Admittedly the match was an absolute nightmare for a TV viewer. I couldn't make the match and had to settle for the TV coverage, and I really wanted to just switch it off after the first few races as I was so embarrassed to be a speedway fan! However, there were plenty of reasons why the match at the Dale went so wrong, and none of them were the fault of the Edinburgh promotion....Horrible weather for days in advance, a bunch of Workington riders who didn't seem to know what to do with a speedway bike when a track was wet and heavy and Tai's mechanical gremlins being the main ones. It certainly wasn't the only match last season that was a complete snooze-fest. I, literally, fell asleep during a few of the matches that Sky covered last season....I wish the Polish matches were covered by Sky ;D
