Harry, do you speak Polish? You seem to know a surprising amount about Polish Speedway if you dont. No but after visiting Bydgoszcz myself, I have been one hell of a fan and after a while, it's 2+2=5 with regards to the language. It's far to quick for me to grasp verbal, reading is not too bad.

The crowd's reaction at ZG is getting very angry. I suppose they are right though - pathetic. Imagine Marron's reaction to Newcastle scoring 50+ at STMP? It would be one of absolute disgust.

You feel this meeting will have ramifications in Zielona Gora - unacceptable performances from Lindgren, Walasek and Protasiewicz against hated rivals Leszno. The fans won't be happy and I suspect neither will Robert Dowhan.

That's a poor analogy - imagine Sunderland scoring 9 goals at St James' Park and you get nearer to the scale. No speedway supporters take the sport as seriously as the Poles and especially those from Zielona Gora.

Half of the crowd has left and the Leszno fans will probably have to wait another hour before it's safe to leave. Balinski was determined to put the cherry on top of the icing. A very interesting day in the E-Liga. Right then let's look next week's meetings.
Adams explained after heat 13 that Leszno needed the perfect tonic after the Torun loss and today was their way of repaying it. Someway - I bet those Unia supporters feelings are in the league that if my beloved Leicester City thumped Coventry City 5-0 at the Ricoh Arena.
Sub's used the same analogy...bugger

Right then let's look next week's meetings. Which are, of course, the reverse of this week's meetings.

Well I have just looked at next week's fixtures with this being the halfway point of the regular season. It's a turnover. These meetings repeated but the reserve of venue.
It appears that Gorzow v Torun and Tarnow v Rzeszow will be available to watch.

The female promoter whose name I have temporary forgotted...with programme in one hand and handbag in the other. Marta Poltorak is the female promoter, or President, of Stal Rzeszow, but I believe the club is owned by main sponsors Marma.

It's the correct spelling. How does Kolodziej get away with those pink colours on his bike? I suppose doing a single-handed attempt at keeping your club up does allow you some 'room'.

Dan 'The Invisible Man' Nermark also wears bright colours. Turns out in orange or illuminous yellow most of the time.

The result of the Rzeszow versus Tarnow meeting has been amended to 51:37 after the points scored by Hougaard for Tarnow were deducted by the referee. Hougaard had removed his bikes and equipment from the pits without authorisation from the referee, which is not allowed in Poland.
