There should've been two meetings this Sunday and there will - hopefully - be two meetings this Sunday, but one of them is the re-arranged Czestochowa-Leszno meeting which is covered in the last thread. So, instead of starting the gold medal shoot-out, as we should have done this Sunday, we'll just - again, hopefully - find out who'll be taking part in that shootout. The final will then start next Sunday (05-10-08). But we will find out who'll be relegated this weekend, with it looking certain to be Unia Tarnow, Polish champions as recently as 2004 and 2005, making the drop. Rzeszow already lead from the first meeting in Tarnow a couple of weeks ago, so this looks a formality.

And the above meeting will be shown live on the following: www.itvp.pl/event/zuzel/The meeting starts at 4:00pm BST and will be followed by the re-arranged fixture between Czestochowa and Leszno which starts at 5:30pm BST. So, a feast of Polish speedway should be on offer tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Great ride from Zagar to take Kolodziej there. But Kolodziej looked slow. Could get very nasty for Tarnow.

A fantastic race in Ht 7, with Zagar and Kolodziej battling up front and Hougaard and Woodward battling for third place. Great stuff.

What a glorious race in Ht 10. No passing but fantastic action as Watt tried everything to pass the team-riding Tarnow pair of Hougaard and Kolodziej. Super stuff.

Obviously been to the Scott Nicholls school of gating You have to doff your cap to the global superstar, he doesn't just touch the tapes, he goes the whole hog and demolishes them.
