Has it been changed? It looks to have Tim Sugar as Reading manager now.

The subtle ones are always the best. I'd call that was a morale victory with that team line up in any case Schumi. ;D It's a shame we're not running this season, Tim Sugar may not be the most vocal or active looking TM in the league but he knows his tactics. Unfortuantely in recent years the art of Team Managing has been devalued, but master tacticians could come back to the fore this season with the new league scoring systems. Off on another tangent, I'm encouraged by the "Reading Speedway 1968-2008 - They will be back" line. That's not been there that long (I think). And looking forward to the upcoming speedway exhibition at the museum, the last one was good, but this one is suppose to be bigger & better.

OK, we're up to 20 entrants now, but if anyone else wants to join in the fun and show Rosco how it should be done there's still plenty of time.

28th Feb to 17th May 2009 Kev. Reading museum is slap bang in the middle of the town centre as part of the Town Hall building. Most importantly, admission to the museum is free!! Full details on Reading website www.readingspeedway.com/news.php?extend.1630Back to topic, your mention of Rosco just made me think I could have called my WWFL team Rosco's Racers ;D Don't think you can change team names on website can you?

I would love to hear the thinking behind some of the team names, Locomotiv this and Penguin that, and as for Zonkers, i dread to think how many sleepless nights she had coming up with her team name.

Chathill is the nearest railway station to where I live, so when I decided on Lokomotiv as the first given name (after Lokomotiv Daugavpils, home track of the Laguta brothers) it was the obvious choice.

I have joined Mitchell Davey ffs I've seen your application wjm, but the poll at the top of the thread is hugely in favour of only one team per person. As you have five, it looks like you'll have to loose four.

I don't get an option to join this league. I presume it's because I've already set one up (I do one on the Aces forum). Oh well....if any of want to join that one the league ID is 27. For what it's worth Youngy's Aces would have looked like this:
Jurica Pavlic Patrick Hougaard Leigh Adams Krysztof Kasprzak Kauko Nieminen Kyle Legault Darcy Ward
Probably finish nowhere with that team but hey-ho.
