With Bridger and King scoring 1 point between them from six rides Schumster thats a rather ridiculous comment. Is it? This isn't just about points, it's about esprit de corps and so on. Would the team be doing as well with the out-sized ego of the global superstar present?

Having watched him in the pits on many occasions Subster, i don't think his ego is outrageously large, he is without doubt not the team man that Richardson is, but the return to date of 1 point from Bridger and King could without doubt cost Team GB a final place.

Surely they can't let it go with riders having used the wrong gates? Then again, this is speedway, so.... Glad to see sense prevail....I could cynically suggest Ole wouldn't have argued so much if it wasn't in Denmark's interest

Lindback appearing to cope quite well with the pressure of beating Crump twice.

King brushed aside too easily there and left himself open to Jonsson moving him around.

Swede's must be gutted about not being able to use the injured Rory Schlein

Looks like the uber'golem's intervention just made things worse - can't understand some of Staechmann's decisions tonight.

Another 'awarded' FIM race at Leszno - must be something about the place.

I'm sure the hatred of Nicholls will produce some positive spin for Lyon, with comments such as "team spirit" "proud" "did our best" "good for the future" but the truth of the matter is of course that Lyon is a complete wanker who should be flapperjack of the week for costing Team GB a final place.
Nicholls dropped King 1 point Bridger 0 points.
