Yep, and I'm constantly being told that Nicki always lays it down amid hard riding. At least he doesn't chuck his toys out of his pram and stop on track. ;D No, he runs crying to Olsen and gets the referees changed for future GPs, or threatens not to be the referee's friend any more. Maybe that was playing on the coward's mind as he made his non-decisions.

A meeting ruined by poor track preparation and a craven coward for a referee - Tony Steele should never be allowed to referee another GP. In fact, he should never be allowed to referee another speedway meeting. Why ? apart from holding the tapes too long on occasions, what did he do wrong ? unless you mean by not pandering to Pussy Gollob, who tonight showed the world why he doesn't have the character to be World Champion.

Who tonight showed the world why he doesn't have the character to be World Champion. Why? Because he doesn't lay his bike down unlike Nicki P? Pedersen tried to knock off Holta and then tried to knock off Gollob, but Steele decides not to bother with making a decision.

Erm, who was the one who toppled off his bike then threw a hissy fit to the referee? Certainly wasn't Pedersen. Gollob did it twice.

I'm sorry Sube, but if you banned every ref who had a difficult decision to make, there would be none left! It wasn't a bloody difficult decision. It was an easy one. Steele is such a coward he can't make a simple decision, so he lets all four back in. The man isn't fit to be a referee.

Interesting you use the word, "coward", I'd have though allowing Pedersen back in, at Pussy's home track in front of all his adoring and rather mental supporters was rather brave.

I think the differences of opinion posted on here show that it wasn't clear cut. For my money, Nicki didn't turn, but Gollob was leaning on him - that's racing. We all see it slightly differently, I'm just glad I didn't have to make the decision.

You can't blame Nicki for the decision though Zonkers.......the referee makes the decisions and if he got it wrong you need to blame him. No, I blame Nicki for his reckless riding as usual......and as I said, for trying to squeeze through a space that wasn't there. There's a difference between hard, fast and clever riding, and just barging your way through, clipping riders and knocking them out of the way - which is what Nicki does....
