I'm sure Subedei will be unsurprised to see his weird GP star draw 16 for the 4th time this year........s p o o k y....... That's semi-weirdness for you. I'm not surprised to see the global superstar banging on about still believing he can make the top eight. But what's all this nonsense about an upturn in his form since returning to the Elite League? His form in Poland certainly hasn't improved.

Clever first turn from Sajfutdinov there, but it looks like this could be tedium personified.

Bit entertainment there as the Brits roll around in mediocrity.

So dull without Nicki P. Even Crump can't be bothered.

Glorious stuff from the great man. Wouldn't have been if Genghis was in charge, because the race would have been all over after lap 2.

I was going to pick AJ in the competition until I read about his accident and discomfort. But he's looking on fine form.

Nicholls, Sajfutdinov and Gollob up next - could be interesting.

Gollob providing the most entertainment tonight. If Jason doesn't pull his socks up he's going to lose points to the mad Russian.

Translated newspaper article today from www.expressen.se. As if Andreas hasn't had enough dramas this week: Speedway star Andreas Jonsson and SVT's engine team ended up in the middle of a flight drama on the way to the World Cup race in Latvia. On my way across the Baltic Sea, a flash hit plane and lit up the whole cabin. "It was really scary. I was shit scared," says Andreas Jonsson to SVT.
