Think the bookies have under-estimated Satsumanov a wee bit , so i've had a fiver each way with Bluesquare at 12/1 . And i've another fiver each way on Hampel at 9/1 - if memory serves me correctly did Hampel not have an outstanding meeting here in the SWC last year or the year before ? In 2008 he scored a maximum 15 points in the SWC at Leasno before losing a race-off to Adams after the Poles and those types from the penal colony had tied. In the 2007 SCW at Leszno he scored 12 points in the race off and 13 points in the final. He also made the final in the European Grand Prix at Leasno last season.

With Tatum MBE in the Sky studio, who, we wonder, will be carrying the global superstar's crash helmet tonight?

Tee hee Mrs Miggins, tee hee. Last season in the GP at Leszno the global superstar scored a hugely impressive two points. Can he beat that remarkable total tonight?

Pedersen in from 6/1 to 2/1 favourite on strength of his one race win.

I think Nicholls should retire gracefully and let the Genius loose on the track.

Apart from Gollob's superb pass on Sajfutdinov, which no doubt hatcham thought warranted an exclusion, this is fairly dreary stuff. Poor starts for Sajfutdinov and the Sausagemeister.

Pedersen in from 6/1 to 2/1 favourite on strength of his one race win. Four races in and all going pretty much to plan, the top boys, Pedersen, Hancock, Crump, Adams, Gollob and on this track Hampel all in the points, whilst wasters Nicholls and Harris along with gating tarts Walasek and Bjerre all struggling.
