Who's going to Sheffield for the first leg then? It should be a cracking meeting, we are going to try and make it...It will be interesting to see how we fair against them.

:-[I hate to be the one to say it, but the weather is looking piss poor for speedway just now , have you seen the forecast for the rest of the week, absolutely shite (though that is not the exact phrase used by that nice lass on ITV ) Are you and Sandie still planning to go north Jacques?

Cousteau is now able to go again , so we are going up when he finishes later, so we may get there a bit late. Sandie is still going, Booey and Robert also...I saw the forecast earlier and whilst there were showers today and tomorrow it didn't look like the Speedway would be affected..I bloody hope not

I hear the weather is fairly fine up there at present but the forecast is that it will deteriorate, hope it's proven wrong. The forecast for tomorrow in Coventry has been improving by the day.

Sheffield by 15...and mind the A61 Bees fans, it's gotta be one of the most traffic plagued roads in the country.

You're a real comedian Harry... ;D A good meeting, overall quite pleased with the Bees, I don't know why this meeting was poo pooed by so many, the Sheffield riders battled hard and I didn't think they were shown up as some expected... Billy Janniro was MOM for me.. Met the legendary Mr Clemens last night, he promises he'll be back with us soon.. Edit; I'd just like to add it was my second visit to Owlerton and I was just as impressed this time round, well organised carpark, great stadium, great track.. there was a good Bee contingent and we certainly had a good laugh with Bee's and Sheffield fans alike..

Out of interest.....
What was your impression of the lighting at Owlerton?
Cracking track and stadium, I just think the lighting is dim and you cannae see a thing on the third bend.

Have you ever been to Swindon... ? It's not hugely bright, but at least you can see where you're standing and can fill the program in.

I'd strongly suggest a re-visit with more equal opponents. Due to me busting a gut Thursday looking a prat playing 5-a-side, I aiming to visit there for the PLRC.
My first visit to Brandon this season will be for the real season opener.
