I very much doubt that if Colin Pratt has any say in it. I may have misinterpreted it kev, but my understanding was that he was against having an Official club forum, which when you read certain official ones I can understand why I don't see why he should be against Roberts forum Anyway,I'd bet any money he reads the BSF ;D. I'm fairly sure he's gone on record as saying internet forums are the antichrist (OK, maybe in not so many words ), and didn't he also hint the same in his radio interview a few weeks back? I've heard word he reads the BSF too actually , and that surely proves the old adage, "You may not like it, but you can't ignore it". But don't get me wrong, I wish Robert every success in the venture!!

Whatever you do DON'T go down the 'official forum' route. We managed to avoid going that way with the wolfcry site but we did try our hardest to 'placate' the management. Despite taking things off the forum at CVS' request (usually via 7 am phone calls I hasten to add!) we were still percieved to be trouble makers and 'faceless cowards'. The final straw came when CVS wanted us to break data protection laws and send him the names and addresses of all our members. When we refused the abuse became intolerable. NOW we say what we think and bollocks to how the management feel! ;D P.S - Look out fleas this wolf's infiltrated your flea pit now.......

And Wacks I reckon. ;D ;D That's slander Genghis, or is it libel? Probably both. It doesn't count if there's a smilie at the end of the sentence, though.

;)Ok then, maybe not 'bigging up', just plenty of casual mentions of the fact that people might like to have a look. I know 'hairs and splitting them', but from their point of view, would it not save some of the bandwidth they are concerned about, if some of the Bees chat was taking place elsewhere! Oh God you're not allowed to say that! You must be as 'anti-bees' as I am to suggest such a thing. No critisism of Bees fans - especially ones who wear pink hats - is allowed on the BSF which the Coventry Mafia seem to think IS their own forum! ???I wasn't critisising Bees supporters lupus, I am one myself! I just remember several comments along the lines of what you have said, and if they are that concerned with the bandwidth maybe they should be happy if some people were posting stuff elsewhere.

A Wolves guy from Bolton or somewhere up there explained to me what was going on. I don't know if CVS actually noticed, but I thought it was the biz. ;D

The guy from Bolton would be Yozza - he used to live in Bilston but moved to Bolton a couple of years ago!
I remember that night very well...it was a good night after a very bad weekend. ;D
After having several very obnoxious and insulting e-mails from CVS - one of which, as I said, demanded that we supply him with the names and addresses of our forum members! - we turned up at Monmore feeling very low. All of our 'members' were unanimous in their support of us and we jokingly said we should have had a 'cowards' banner and badges.
Suddenly one of the gang we stand with produced a pack of post-its from their bag so we improvised. It wasn't a planned or co-ordinated 'protest' but because it was so spontaneous it had more impact I feel. We had so many people come up to us that night - those who were forum members telling us we had their support and those who weren't asking what it was all about!
;D

Lupus, You've omitted the last paragraph..................you know, the one where CVS saw the error in his ways, and apologised.

Can anyone (me) join, or would you prefer it to be Coventry fans only? As a neutral I'm a member of a few boards, only some prefer it if they don't have too many outsiders. Whatever happened to Wolverine? He used to brighten up - if that's the correct word ;D the old Bees forum and he certainly wasn't a Bees fan. I don't know if I'm a member or not so I'll have to go and check, but like most people I very rarely have a look because there is never anything going on. Let's hope all these new members joining will liven things up a bit.

Errr, nope. If you type it in (or copy and paste it) it comes up as a link anyway. You did it all yourself.
