Really chuffed for Johnno, perhaps puts the shameful treatment he received from the flapperjack Horton regime at Oxford earlier this year to bed. fog

Congratulations to Coventry (hope the nerves have calmed now jacques), but enjoy the glory while you can, as you are going to get Hammered out of the KO Cup at the weekend. The referee was a disgrace tonight, and if Rossiter had focused on his errors instead of going off on his usual tangent he may have got some sympathy.

That's just a FUCKING SICK JOKE - how the fuck can he exclude Balinski for that? Edit: The more I see it the more shocking the decision is - DISGRACEFUL. Completely agree with you there Sube, the ref even had the gall to tell Rosco the incident was just like the Crump/Iversen incident at P'boro a few weeks back. Did the twat not remember that it was Iversen who got excluded from that race. Oh well, congratulations Coventry no doubt about it they were the better team over 2 legs. Commiserations must go to the Swindon faithfull, I know just how they must be feeling tonight, but their team let them down badly

Swindon, however, were just plain shit. Interesting, though, that both sides collapsed when the pressure was on, which shows why Peterborough and Coventry were worthy champions I guess, as they are the sides that really kicked in when it was needed.

Can't beat a bit of controversy!! It wasn't the best meeting no, but then you can't blame Coventry for that because they were certainly up for it.....and thoroughly derserved it... Well Done Coventry Bees ,it's hard to single any of them out last night, but Rory was awsome.. ;D Commiserations to Swindon particularly their fans who wanted it so much... Sadly more than the team did.. Edit: I've just watched this back and am putting Johno up there with Rory. Absolute Star!!!

I was trying to be tactful Grachan, but yeah you were shit ;D *coughs* p;boro worthy champions!! They had to use 3 bloody TR's to beat what finished up a 5 man team by a point in the end! What's this I 've read about Schlein ripping up a Swindon banner last night?

What's this I 've read about Schlein ripping up a Swindon banner last night? Dunno. I've read about it but other than that I probably don't know any more than you about it than you. What got me about him was that he rode over to Lee Richardson - who was lying on the track with a cracked pelvis at the time - and gave him a contemptuous shake of the head before riding off. I'm all for a bit of attitude, but there's something about this guy I don't like. He reminds me of a little guy who was picked on at school for being a wimp and tries to come on as the big "I am" as a result.

I thought it was shameful that they all practically ignored the fact he was still on the track being loaded into an ambulance, while Rosco was putting his oscar bid in!

Rosco and Gary Patchett were both out on the track with Lee when he was being loaded into the ambulance. I was stood on the second bend and I saw them.

Well, the referee gifts Coventry a 5-1 there while Nigel Pearson spouts his usual bollocks - Janniro was all over the place, while Balinski rode a textbook corner. Fucking nonsense. The referee can fuck off to Australia now and leave someone else to finish the meeting. Thank goodness for that, thought I was the only one who was incensed about THAT decision!!What you have to realise, Janniro is practised in the art of "falling" if things look a bit dodgy and the ref fell for that hook line and sinker However I have to say that Coventry most definitely were the better team over the 2 legs, and as they topped the league, I feel justice prevailed. Bad luck Swindon and especially Leigh Adams, whose facial expressions during the evening told the story I felt

He's put in a couple of good guest appearances for us, but like you I'm not sure about the attitude, but that seems to be a trait with young aussies over here these days.
