Could one of our resident anoraks tell me the format used for the KO Cup final in 1979 please? Cup meetings that season were run over an 18 Heat format - over the years the KO Cup has often been used as a 'guinea pig' for testing out different formulae, with the 4,3,2,0 scoring system also being introduced to the competition at one stage. |

Kev - I don't think a 4-3-2-0 scoring has been applied to the KOC. However, in 1995, bonus points counted in the team scores - so a 5-1 became a 6-1 and a 3-3 became a 4-3. |
