The 1965 KO cup was held over one round, with the exception of the final. The West Ham v Wimbledon meeting was drawn and replayed - was the replay still at West Ham, or was it at Wimbledon? Schumi, the replay was at Wimbledon and won 49-47 by West Ham after an exceptional performance with two heat leaders missing. It transformed the fortunes of West Ham that season and they went on to do the double, although they were fortuante that pace setters Oxford lost the services of top-man Ron How in a season where there were no R/R or guests. The Cheetahs eventually finished fourth, just seven points behind West Ham, despite having replaced a 10.00 point rider with a 2.00 point rider from July onwards.

In the 1972 KO Cup, Ipswich received a bye into the quarter finals. Who were they supposed to ride against in R2 and why didn't they?

Well technically they weren't representing any team as this is an individual competition. Kyle Newman is riding for Bournemouth this year, but not sure about Greg Blair.....he rode for Berwick on a couple of occasions last year..... hopefully someone can help with this year?

You know what I mean. Been doing the results and didn't know whether to put "unattached" for either of them.

I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know the date of the 2000 Danish Junior Final in Glumso please? It was won by Kenneth Bjerre.

The riders that are listed A-Z, are you trying to get interviews with them all (those that are still alive that is). If you are then I can interview Alan Armstrong.....seeing as he's my uncle it'll be a doddle....or is there anything else you need to know about him just ask.

Thank you, but is he any good ? Hatcham - he's good around some of the big tracks e.g. King's Lynn, Scunthorpe, and absolutely shocking elsewhere. He's generally crap on small tracks.

Saw 'Rambo' at Buxton last year romp to a five ride max in which a certain Mr D Ward scored 7. He also won heat 2 in the Belle Vue vs Wolves ELA fixture in 2008 beating Bob Ksiezak, Chris Neath and Nicolai Klindt.
