And in 2006, wasn't his average something like 11.30-11.40?. Bascially the best league average since God in 1987. Nope, it was 11.21.

God was only 10 years old in 1987. Schumi, no, Satan was 10 years old in 1987. What rubbish, Damian was born in 1981, making him six in 1987.

Hmmm, but isn't that still the best figure since God posted a British League average of 11.73 in 1987, following His record-breaking 11.83 figure in 1986. EDIT: Maybe with the exception of Ermolenko in 1993. I think Ermolenko's average that season was around 11.30.

Let's look at the facts here............Crump has never, and will never achieve anything exceptional in Britain (or the World stage)........as far as World Champions go, he's average, and as far as legends go, he's not even in the same building as Fundin, Mauger, Briggs, Olsen, Nielsen, Rickardsson or Pedersen!!!

Oh come on Genghis, the 'evil Dane' can't hold a candle to Dryml..........he's had his moments in the past, but never has he done anything as premeditated as what Damian did that infamous lunchtime.............and to cap it all, Damian then preceded to pull a few wheelies in celebration.......be honest, have you ever seen Nicki celebrate putting someone into/over the fence? I thought not!!!

Nicki P shouldn't be in that list - well, not yet. There's a distinct lack of world class riders about at the moment. I would suggest Gundersen should be in there instead. At the moment, Crump (18 GP wins) is still a long way ahead of Nicki (9 GP wins). Anyway, some figures I'm not exagerating: God's BL averages between 1985 and 1987: 1985 - 11.43 1986 - 11.83 1987 - 11.73 Given that in 1985 the British League became a genuine superleague (with the top riders spread amongst 11 instead of 16-18 teams and during a time the BL was still the best league in the world), the above figures are astonishing. And Hatcham wonders why I go on such much about the guy. Only Fundin, Mauger and, for one season, Anders Michanek, got anything close to these figures in British Speedway.

It's not one isolated incident though is it.......just ask Scott Nicholls about Lonigo last season.

It's not one isolated incident though is it.......just ask Scott Nicholls about Lonigo last season. Because Scott Nicholls has never been dirty, has he? And Lukas would never flick out a leg at another rider, in the way that Nicholls did as they crossed the line. Kev - so that's two incidents in over ten years of racing. Still not much really is it?

Anyone know how old "Thingy Butler" is please?? That is a suitably weird question. But here's a weirder one: is Dick Butler the only man connected with speedway whose name is mentioned in the "Urban Dictionary"?

Only wondered if he was old enough to have a child in their 20's???, or whether he is in his 20's
