Have Vastervik had a falling out with Chrzanowski? I notice he's the only rider in their team to have dropped his average by more than half a point. Not that I'm aware of and not publicly anyway. I think he's been injured?

I thought that might have been the case too, but wasn't he riding in Poland yesterday? Although it could have been a come-back.

And Olly Allen won't be riding for Masarna after hurting his shoulder last night at Coventry.

You're welcome, but I can't take much of the credit, I'm afraid. Anyway, A close meeting in Dackarna, but the visitors eventually triumphing with Ricky Kling and Nicki Pedersen being the stars of the show. For Dackarna, Vissing looks uncomfortable, and Klindt faded away after a good start, but the meeting was lost in the final six heats after a close beginning. Fun and games at Gubbangen, with Johnno being replaced for Masarna after only two rides - by Stead in one instance (!) Bjerre and Adams do well, but it must be frustrating not being backed up by the rest. Hammarby take both the win and the bonus, but Kim Nilsson's form must be starting to worry the home side.

Besides, conditions last night were awful with a terrible track and anyway he can't be dropped. We'll have to carry on.

News around Sweden after the latest round.
Vastervik's team manager, Peter Helgesson, is not happy with his men after a crushing defeat by the Indians. The only rider who has escaped criticism is Bjarne Pedersen, but particularly disappointing was Niels Kristian Iversen. It seems changes have been discussed, but that the team and management don't think it's necessary. Of course, Vastervik were without Chris Harris, who pulled out after injuring himself at Coventry on Monday, but even if he had been riding the result would have been the same - a fouth successive loss for Vastervik, keeping them firmly in the bottom half of the table.
Piraterna are content with their victory over Rospiggarna, particularly with Rafal Okoniewski, who scored 13 (2) from reserve, and helped them earn the vital bonus point. However, Rospiggarna manager, Mikael Messing isn't happy with his reserves, and it seems even family ties might not be enough to keep them in the team. Changes being discussed are the possible inclusion of Lubos Tomicek, but more likely, Mateusz Szczepaniak.
Lejonen have recieved the news that one of their juniors, Anton Gothburg, will be out for the rest of the season after an accident riding in Division 1. However, this won't affect the team. But in better news, Nicki Pedersen equalled Hans Andersen's track record at MĂ„lilla in the first heat of their meeting on Tuesday.
