Fingers crossed Nicholls, Rico and Harris keep this form up for next Monday.

Yes, Dackarna's been rained off and a new date will be set within 48 hours.

And all the meetings running are very close heading into the interval - how will they all end up?

And for the second week running, Hammarby go into a last heat decider for the bonus.

And it ends up all square in Hallstavik, where the Indians confirmed there recent renaissance, while it was agony for Vastervik in Avesta as they throw away an eight point lead to lose. MasarnaAvesta fortunate to have Leigh Adams in such imperious mood, while Vastervik will rue the missing Tomasz Gollob and perhaps not putting Forsberg out in Ht 15.

Hammarby narrowly failed in their bid to pick up the bonus point at Lejonen, but they put up a good fight, despite being without Dobrucki, Gapinski and Smolinski due to various injuries. Nilsson and Hlib, especially, will have disappointed the visitors, who would have been hoping to make the most of Nicki Pedersen's absence. However, Chris Holder assumed the number one spot for Lejonen and did almost as good a job as the World Champion would have, whilst Jedrzejak had a poor meeting at home.
Piraterna finally despatched Vetlanda after a surprising 1-5 from Richardson and Hampel in heat 7 put the visitors ahead. But Walasek and Nermark reversed the Pirates' fortunes with two heats to go, and they ended up with a two point win, meaning the loss of the bonus point was not so disappointing.
Elitserien now takes a two-week break for the World Cup, and resumes on the 22nd July.

Restaging date for the Dackarna-Smederna meeting is the 23rd July, when, I believe, Andreas Jonsson and Wieslaw Jagus will be missing due to other commitments.

Fair bit of controversy surrounding the postponement of Dackarna v Smederna. Apparently, not much was done to recover the track, despite the fact that conditions have been far worse at MÃ¥lilla during GP's and despite the fact that new dry shale was in stock and machinery in place. Some people suggest that the loss of PK ahead of the meeting made Dackarna unwilling to try and get the track into shape.

I just knew someone would pick me up on that, although in my defence it was only 9 minutes late. We should be getting underway shortly.

Okay, the results aren't coming through properly, but we are getting heat scores. As expected, Jagus and Jonsson are riding in Russia tonight, and are replaced by Krzysztof Buczkowski and Peter Karlsson, with Dackarna reshuffling.
