There was no mention of changes in the rules governing work permit riders that emerged after the BSPA AGM and surely, knowing Swindon were going to get Jurica Pavlic on an assessed 4.00 average under those rules, surely that would've been on the agenda.

It's utterly digusting. If I was a Premier League promoter, I'd be raging at this one. Even threatening to throw my license in - after all that appears the only threat which seemingly works in British Speedway.

So because we didn't hear about it before that means it didn't get changed? No=one is less likely to stick up for CVS than me...it's a bit like Sub sticking up for the Mods on the BSF! - but I don't believe in screeching about cheating without hearing all the facts first.

The guy is riding under his true average rather than an artificially increased one...what is the problem? If it's because other riders have had their averages increased in the past then maybe a decision has been made that the rule is unfair and Kerr is the first rider to benefit from the 'new' rule...someone has to be the first in these circumstaces.

He had to raise his average to over seven points (you see, it didn't even have to be eight) in order for his work permit to be re-newed. But because he falls off all the time and gets injured, he didn't. Tough shit, no one's fault but his own.

.......or CHANGED! I'm still yet to see any evidence that the rule has been 'disregarded' rather than just changed. According to Alex Harkess the Edinburgh promoter who is also on the MC the rule has not been changed.

If that's the case ML then I'm not happy either. I don't mind my club being the first to use a 'new' rule but, like everyone else, I don't agree with the possibility that CVS has used his 'clout' to get special dispensation.

I just don't know what CVS will make of Kerr. After all, he was most upset at the tumbling of Monberg and Kerr spends more time inspecting safety fences than he does racing. He tumbles more often than Benji C.

Attended the practice for an hour or so on Friday, can`t believe how smooth the track was Also went to the meet the riders night, they were interviewed and said all the right things. Bit sad that I had to leave early,on the bright side I was sober when I left

That's a heck of a lot of bodies withdrawn, hopefully nothing serious for any of them.

Certainly not for Mads - he blew an engine. Unfortunately it was his only engine.

Just been reading the updates and I note that Chris Kerr hasn't forgotten the art of tumbling - he tumbles almost as often as the Lesser Compton.
