I have to agree with you, god knows what this country will be like in a few years time when the 'outraged' have taken complete control and removed all freedom of speech. With freedom of speech comes responsibility. Not certain i totally agree with that, surely freedom of speech, means just that, regardless of how unpleasant it might be, i like to hear what people really think, it helps me to decide if i want to be in their company, and offers the opportunity for debate.

I think this forum is a good example of how freedom of speech can work. We CAN say what we want and we CAN reply. I can't actually recall anything posted on here that led to anything that outraged anyone (when folk were sober anyway ) Instead for the majority of the time we have informed and reasonable debate, albeit with some strong language and a fair amount of humour thankfully. The interesting thing about all this is it's reputed by the tabloids (no idea if it's true or not) that if anyone goes within a mile of printing stuff about Ross and his family they get lawyers camped on their doorsteps. To me that's double standards. If you want to live by the sword, be prepared to be speared in the arse Ross wants it both ways I agree with ML, freedom of speech goes hand in hand with responsibility

I would like to nominate the BBC News and Sky News because I am sick to death about hearing about the American Elections and the Brand/Ross case. Where is the real news?

In third place this week: The Outraged General Public for phoning in to complain about a show they had no intention of listening too In Second: Brand & Wossy for there actions on the radio, causing thousand of people to phone up and complian And this weeks winner is: The Jack Young Shield Final. Firstly, to Topinka for taking a Dive on the first bend just to get the meeting called off. Secondly to the ZZ Top reject for not showing enough balls and telling the Comets Riders there was nothing wrong with the track, instead calling the meeting off. Thirdly to Peter Waite for his handling of giving refunds (or not) to the fans. Fourthly to John Branney for is pathetic atempt to act hard on Sunday Night and last but not least to The Grand Monarch for being a Shit Ref. Glad i got that off my chest ;D
