;D 22-8 up after 5 before a power packed finish by the Panthers kills off the Wolves, superb stuff until you remember who Panthers were riding against. It's also good to see that Tai Woffinden is going to stick with the Wolves and another year in the Prem in 2009 Wolverhampton = 48 - Peterborough = 47

2. Morten Risager..............2*,2,3,2 from updates That doesn't accord with the heat results. I've posted score cards that accord with the heat results on the previous page.

Phew - great comeback..think maybe the rain did us a favour...
What happened to King tonight....and Dribble was his usual drivel away from home....
Thanks to Rory - great guest! And well done to Bjerre (unlucky with the EF), Zabik and Bager!

He'll be taking the Sat Nav back tomorrow because he asked for all the data for EL tracks to be deleted but the Halfords staff left Wolves in for a joke, he didn't disappoint

from Panthers forum (Maccas):
Well I got back from Monmore a few minutes ago and I am not sure where to start. A good result and a fantastic come back from the Panthers but it had to be one of the most unfulfilling speedway meetings I have been to. The rain did us a huge favour as up until then the track had no grip and was a complete gaters paradise. With a few sections of it looking dangerous (that 1st-->2nd Bend was terrible) and to be honest I had seen better racing at the half time interval at the showground! After the rain however it changed, The panthers starting to find some grip on the track and although the times got slower the racing got much better.
Schlein- Great guest, once he had got used to the track made a couple of very good rides including heat 15 to keep Iversen behind him Dryml- Exactly as expected, stuggled a lot with the track and just tried to push it too hard Bjerre- Great riding but not much luck, towards the end he really showed why we should sign him next year, didn't let the engine failure phase him and rode his heart out Bager- Solid performance, struggled a couple of times but when the rain came out he rode much better King- Absolutely rubbish , His two falls were from him pushing it too hard trying to find grip which just wasn't there and his exclusion was just him getting nervous Zabik- Superb! Really expected him to struggle today round this rubbish track but he showed some serious talent to be able to ride as he did, had a great win over Iversen! Vissing- A poor night, Struggled with the lack of dirt.
