So why not a 6 point PL rider then, as happened re Robert Miskowiaks enforced stay in Poland, and he IS Polish . Why bother with rules at all Because sullivan is sick and has a doctors note if Robert had a doctors note then ippo could have used a guest . Not hard to follow is it . Ahhhh I see, truth and speedway don't go together then Sounds like another thwack from that wooden spoon is needed to me

Well, B.J. wasn't too bad at all last night and gave it his all so I can't nominate him. Instead I will go for the Poole team manager Neil Middleditch for protesting about Coventry's use of Jesper Monberg as a guest for Olly Allen, who was injured in the first match of the double header. (Once again not Allen's fault. When will opposing riders stop knocking him off!) Presumably Middleditch would have liked Bees to be down to 5 riders and have heats where we could only field one rider. It's not as though Coventry would have caught up 20 points as we were already without Simon Stead and we were within the rules because Lioness and SCB say so. That's good enough for me.

Well, as this seems to have come to a full stop I'll get it over and done with nice and early. I will resist the temptation to choose Neil Middleditch because he was my own nomination. I can't decide between Ryan Sullivan and Lukas Dryml so will take the easy way out (a Gemini trait I'm afraid) and have joint winners. Runner-up goes to Jarek Hampel for missing next Thursday's meetings at Ipswich due to a re-arranged Polish play off. Actually that's probably a bit unfair as it should be his club and Poland in general for riding whenever they wish without taking into consideration Ipswich's race night....or Coventry's on Friday. What's the point in England deciding to ride on one night (should they ever do so) if Poland and Sweden still alter their fixtures around to disrupt the meetings? Over to Subedei to defend his beloved Poland.

Sorry Kev. Do you think Dryml deserves top spot all on his own? I am very flexible and easily led. Afterall he always has an excuse to avoid riding at Lakeside, whereas Sullivan missing meetings is a relatively new thing.

Most definately Gem........Damian has a long history of this and should (imo) get the award without distraction. Just my view you realise, but if you check out Genghis' signature it looks like he agrees with me. ;D

Actually, wait until Nicki gets those few points next weekend and genghis will be sporting a new pro-Balinski signature, all on his own.

I think he deserves at least a joint award, if not one all but himself.

it's gotta be Zabik! Peterborough Speedway has today terminated their contract with Polish youngster Karol Zabik, and with immediate effect.
The Peterborough management were highly disturbed by press reports that surfaced this week stating Zabik would be returning to the Poole team for 2009, after earlier intimations from the rider that he would like to remain at Alwalton for the 2009 season.

Okay after deliberating and considering the prosecution case for Dryml and Sulivan, I've decided to stick with my original decision and the award is a joint one. Now on to week 65 and I'll have to pop in there to second the nomination by Flyinpanther for Karol Zabik.
