if you want heat schedules for the Swedish leagues you can find it here; 6 versions available: heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_no_grid_no_auto_summary_sm.pdf heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_no_grid_no_auto_summary_sm.xls heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_with_auto_summary_sm.xls heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_with_grid_and_auto_summary_sm.xls heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_with_grid_no_auto_summary_sm.pdf heat_schedule_sweden_Elite-Allv_Div_with_grid_no_auto_summary_sm.xls no grid means there are no lines. with grid means there are lines between all cells auto summary means if you open it with MS Office Excel or Open Office Spreadsheet it will auto summarize the scores as long as you enter each riders score in the heats. The files with auto summary is not recommended for printing use the no autosummary version if you want to print them. This is because the Auto summary formulas generates a bunch of "0s" which will occupy the space where you want to write the scores.

Stefan Andersson has said he's ready to leave Piraterna if the team don't make it into the play-offs. They are currently in seventh place (out of eight). The team boss believes they can still make it, but it's dependent on the Russian diva. Andersson is in negotiations with him to ride on Tuesday in place of the injured Wieslaw Jagus, who will be out for about a month, but if Emil won't ride they will operate R/R for Jagus. In any event, Balinski will return to the Pirates' team. Elsewhere, Daniel Nermark has followed through on his decision not to ride in tonight's Allsvenskan meeting for Solkatterna as he's not being paid. www.vf.se

Karlstad's chairman, Göran Regnell, has said that Daniel Nermark will get paid, but it will take a little time. Attendances for their home meetings haven't generated the revenue they had hoped for, which has led to them falling behind with some payments. This has happened to a few riders, especially in the Elitserien, but due to the economic situation, Daniel is unable to pay his own expenses to ride currently. www.vf.seBut in better news for the team, the Kalvholmens stadium is set to get a 2.6m kroner upgrade, including a new air fence, better rest rooms, riders areas and lighting, which should be ready for next year.
Valsarna secured their place at the top of the Allsvenskan league last night, by beating Getingarna, 68-27. The Drums will therefore be able to choose their opponents in the play-off quarter finals.
And Lejonen's attendance figures are still below the break-even mark, which is causing some concern. www.finnveden.nu

Which bit don't you agree with, ghostie? My Swedish is terrible, but it looks to me like you will be using the British method of working out averages (points divided by heats times four) and a rider has to complete a full meeting to gain an average? Have they dropped the rolling average system?

to be honest i defenitely prefer our current system over yours/the new system. The news system seems to easy to manipulate and will punish the low average riders who have a good season especially younger riders with very low averages who rides as a reserve.
A few examples:
Patric Hougaard entered this season with a average of 2.87 which he have increased to 4.27 with the new system it would be 5,73.
Leon Madsen entered on a 2.00 average and have increased to 4.13 with the new system his new average would be 6.30 compared to 4.27 with the current system.
If you take a look at Mikael Max with the current system he as increased from 5.15 to 6.07 with the new system it would be 7,07 which imo doesn't "feel" correct on the contrary it feel very wrong.
And for a rider that enters the system with a high average it would be too easy to lower his/hers average to lets say 4-5. Simply ride 16 heats and score only 4p/meeting to lower the average to 4.0.
With the current system a rider needs to ride very poor over a larger number of meetings for it to have any greater effect and that means a rider cant affect the average especially much in a meeting or two.
And i know there have been "allot" of accusations at the BSF at riders/Teams that are cheating with riders skipping a meeting to get a much lower average.
My opinion is very clear and firm. The current system must stay!

there will be several new changes for next season the best thing IMO is that team no longer can replace their Swedish junior reserve more then once/meeting. Some teams that have weaker reserves of which one usually is a swedih U21 rider. These teams often only let the U21 rider ride two heat/meeting and either use the other reserve instead or one of the 1-5 riders as a tactical substitute. From next season they can only do that once/meeting. They will however be allowed to replace the U21 with the nr8 rider but they cant replace the nr8 rider with any other rider except the Swedish u21 rider that originally was meant to ride. www.svemo.se/ImageVault/Images/id_2685/ImageVaultHandler.aspx

Can someone tell me what's going on with Zorro and his lawyer, please? I'm having difficulty translating it. Was he promised half a million kroner in a fake contract, or did something fall through? It's at ekuriren.se/sport/speedway

Zorro was told a payment guarantee was in place with the bank. 500 000 SEK to ensure Zorro would get payed at the end of the season, should Smederna fail to pay him. But it seems there never was such a payment guarantee in place with any bank.

Did that make any sense?
During the negotiations between Smederna and Zorro, when Zorro signed to ride for Smederna in 2009, he was told that as an insurance - there was a payment guarantee in place with a bank. Should Smederna run into financial trouble and not be able to pay Zorro his wages - there would be a 500 000 payment guarantee in place with the bank which would cover it, meaning that Zorro would get payed no matter what happened.

It did to me, thank you. And now Zorro has called in a lawyer to try and find out who made this guarantee, and try to claim the money?
