Buck unfortunately suffered a bit of concussion after his fall at Ippo Thursday night so didn't make his Smallmead debut in the end tonight.
Shame, as by all accounts from those who have seen him ride at Cov/Poole/Ippo all report an exciting if a bit eratic little rider.

But to his credit, was at the Reading fixture supporting the rest of the team - fair play to him for that, and from his results so far, it has to be said that he does look like a good signing!!

Yep Kev, he spent the night in the pits with his new team mates & came into the press conference after the meeting to be introduced to the fans.
Poor bloke looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, but walked out in the end with a grin from ear to ear. As did Wellie after the reception he got again in the press conference. You don't know how refreshing it is to have an honest, down to earth bloke like him fronting our club now.

The Purchase era was indeed a good time at Oxford, and I've got to say Waggy was a better promoter than many give him credit for - just a shame he didn't have the finances to back up his ideas. Since Waggy left, it's gone to shite at Oxford, and Horterjack isn't the only one to blame for that. Let's hope the Trumpmeister can turn things around for them. Third time lucky?........... well let's say I'm more than happy with my choice this time
