This would have been a far tastier fixture for Sky to cover IMO...Oh well I'll be there, I love my visits to Monmore..
Can we get a win though? I say yes..although it seems that not every Bees fan shares my optimism. We shall see.

Yes, I can see the Bees getting a win at Monmore Green. Wolverhampton are awful, truly awful. Lindgren has turned out to be a very poor "leader" of the team, their tail is hopelessly long and Monberg is a bit of a joke.

Monberg is a bit of a joke. Well, of course he is. I could have told you that last May.

And Wolverhampton in home win shock is the headline from this meeting, as the Coventry Bees manage to lose to the hapless Wolves (47:43). Wolverhampton relied on just three riders for 39 of their 47 points: Fredrik Lindgren (13 from 5 rides), Niels-Kristian Iversen (11 from 5 rides) and Nicolai Klindt (15 from 7 rides) being the trio. But David Howe again failed to impress, managing just 3+2 from 4 rides. For the Bees, Hans Andersen (12+1 from 5) and Chris Harris (11 from 5) led the way, but they received scant support, although it might've been different had unSteady not withdrawn from the meeting with a sore thumb having scored 5 from his first two rides. Once again the reserves for the Bees were awful, with Robbie Kessler scoring 3 from 5 rides and Coventry's "great Czech hope" Filip Sitera not troubling the scorer from 5 rides.

Monberg also withdrawn after Stead and Klindt couldn't avoid him after a fall.

Okay, it looks as if the information regarding scorers above is a bit duff, for which I apologise. Coventry's "great Czech hope" Filip Sitera didn't score a full minimum, he actually scored 3 from 5 rides, while unSteady managed 3 points from 2 rides ahead of being withdrawn and Kessler scored 2 from 5 rides.

If our tail is long ... how long a tail does a Bee have They came execting to win ... & there lies the problem ... they thought signing one rider was the answer ;D Oh yer Freddie the awful leader beat the new pair Champions to win the meeting .... & our truly awful team beat the league champions .... oh happy days ;D
