As the scores are worked out on aggregate, I don't think that can happen, can it? Are you sure about that? Test Match scores are usually done on meetings won, so this series would be poised at 1-1.........none of this aggregate victory stuff in Test Matches. Canny see it being restaged now as Somerset will have play-offs and a KO Cup final to contest , as well as an outstanding league match with Mildenhall and possibly a promotion/relegation meeting .

That's a fair point, but there is always the option to stage it elsewhere, and remember there's still a fair way for the season to run........October 31st in fact, although it's becoming more common for teams to lock up shop earlier in recent years which makes the winter seem even longer.

No, you're right. I could have sworn I read something on the Swindon website about England taking a "marginal lead" after the second round, but whatever it was I thought I saw I can't find it there now.
