Reports suggesting that Reading will be under new ownership very soon, which is doubly good news - good riddance to BSI and hopefully the Racers born again.
Edit:
Naturally enough, there's nothing on the Bulldogs' website about this development. So much for Postlethwaite the great communicator - only happy to talk when there's good news around.

Or when there's a buck to be made And he thought there were plenty of bucks to be made at Reading - why he thought that, I'll never know. Pat Bliss had been saying for years there wasn't. Maybe a mysterious voice told him if he bought it they would come.

The Bulldogs' website says tonight's meeting against Wolves has been cancelled due to the weather, despite some reporting there hasn't been much in the way of rain. Maybe due to Hancock doing another disappearing act?

Maybe due to Hancock doing another disappearing act? In fairness, Hancock is in the United States competing in their national championships, as is Billy Hamill. But one wonders whether Monday's fixture against Coventry will go ahead with rumours suggesting that Hancock won't be there.

Assuming Hancock is competing on Saturday evening, he couldn't make it back to the UK before midday on the Monday. He'd pretty much have to go straight to Reading from the airport, after a 12+ hour flight.

And with commitments in Sweden, Russia and Poland in the coming week, there doesn't seem to be much hope of him troubling himself with the Bulldogs on Monday.

He'd pretty much have to go straight to Reading from the airport, after a 12+ hour flight. It seems that the meeting in the United States has been run and won by Billy Hamill. Hamill will be riding for Wolverhampton in the UK on Monday. And Hancock? Well, don't be expecting to hear any news from BSI or the Bulldogs. And don't you go expecting Lynch to publicly carpet Hancock the way he did Simota a week ago.

It seems that Reading's new owners will be announced to the waiting world on Thursday.
