One week till the return of speedway's greatest ever rider in a Glasgow racejacket and this weeks cannon fodder are the title chasing Somerset Rebels . Much as the speedway world are pinning their hopes on the Rebels saving us from the Monarchs winning the league , i'm afraid we'll need to send them back to Highbridge pointless . Teams are - Glasgow Tigers 1 Stoney 2 Big Lee 3 EL Bobby 4 Trent 5 Anders 6 Mitchell " i'm getting better " Davey 7 Trainee Messiah
Somerset Rebels 1 Jason Doyle 2 Mattias Kroger 3 Emil Kramer 4 r/r 5 Jordan Frampton 6 Brent Werner 7 Ben Taylor
And the ref is Tony " i used to be a GP referee " Steele .

Glasgow to win by 4 points. Can see both Doyle and Kramer going near unbeaten but cant see any of the others making much of an impression.
Think Josh G will come out on top vs Werner and Davey will vs Taylor.

I'm a very happy Tigger tonight . A fantastic meeting and another win for the rapidly improving Tigers , with the Trainee Messiah absolutely outstanding scoring 16 paid 18 from 7 rides . Glasgow Tigers 51 Grajczonek 16+2 (7) , Ksiezak 11 + 2 (5) , Leverington 8 + 1 (4) , Stonehewer 8 (4) , Dicken 5 + 1 (4) , Andersen 3 + 1 (3) , Davey 0 (4)
Somerset Rebels 39 Doyle 16 (6) , Werner 8 + 1 (6) , Frampton 7 (6) , Kramer 4 + 1 (4) , Kroger 3 + 1 (5) , Taylor 1 + 1 (3)
Kramer took a nasty tumble in heat 12 and was withdrawn from the meeting , but a superb performance from the Tigers . Bring on the Monarchs . ;D

Was it better racing this week, Paulco? It was miles better this week , real blood and thunder PL speedway at it's best . Highlight being heat 14 . Jason Doyle in as a t/s off 15 metres caught Trent Leverington ( in 2nd place ) coming out the 2nd bend of the last lap , then the two raced neck and neck along the back straight - with Doyle almost riding along the safety fence . Trent holding on to 2nd place by a tyre width on the line . That was the only time Doyle was headed today in what was an enthrawling contest from heat 1 to heat 15 .

Proctor has 3 years more experience of speedway than Josh does, so that puts it into perspective ... in 3 years time ... Josh will be just as good as Proctor is just now, nah ... who am I kidding ... he is gonna be better

Seems we'll have to wait a wee bit longer for the great man's return . Doctors have advised against a comeback this weekend .

Aslong as he is fully fit if/when he returns, it will be great to see him back on track.
