My good mate Rob B has stated on the Aces unofficial site that Andersen has signed for the Bees and Schlein has gone to Ipswich.
Has this been confirmed?

Apparently Hans signed for Coventry last night..... Boo-hoo....... Zonkers - I think it was inevitable. With the 14-day facility running out, it will be interesting to see who the Panthers sign as a replacement, or if anyone wants to sign for them. They're trying to sign Rory Schlein......

Zonkers, Peterborough ought to sign Zagar, Lord Flapperjack wouldn't have to worry about paying him each week.

(Clueless as usual..... ) I wanted Matej Zagar during the winter when they were announcing sigings. I wanted either Charlie Gjedde, Matej Zagar, or Sam Simota and as you know we got the third, who really struggled to get any points for us before his terrible crash.

Because he'll only turn up about once every 5 meetings. Reading promotion have recently had 2 enquiries about Zagar, but his demands were too high for both clubs.

Bit of a difficult one this, I am very excited about our prospective new signing (s)..I would love the other to be Hans, but I know if it is, it's at the expense of another set of fans.. How weird if it is? If someone had said to me this time last year, that Scott Nicholls would be out of Coventry and possibly Andersen in, I'd have probably told them to eff off.. ;D

We have, we haven't, we haven't we have... Thursday 31 July 2008 COVENTRY Buildbase Bees can confirm they have agreed terms for Danish World Cup winner Hans Andersen to join the club. The Bees are hopeful that Andersen will be able to make his debut in their next Elite League fixture at Peterborough next Thursday, although his signing cannot be confirmed at this stage. Andersen is currently serving a 14-day ban imposed by the sport's authorities to enable the Panthers to attempt to solve the financial difficulties which led to him withholding his services due to unpaid wages. That ban is expected to expire on Monday, which would allow Bees the necessary three days to re-declare their team in time for Andersen to ride against his former club. Bees were given permission by the Panthers to speak to Andersen last week, and personal terms have been concluded with Andersen keen to join the club. Negotiations are set to continue between owner Allen Trump and his Peterborough counterparts as to whether the deal becomes a full transfer or a loan. Trump said: "I'd love to have Hans in our team, and I really hope this comes off. He's a good gater, he's aggressive and I'm sure he would do an excellent job for us." The Buildbase Bees can also confirm that at this stage none of their present riders have been released, and the move can only take place when Peterborough agree to release Andersen from their line-up having satisfied themselves that they have a replacement. It must also be sanctioned by the BSPA. from Coventry Bees website.

Hope this doesn't turn out to be a 'fly in the ointment' as I can't imagine there will be a very long queue of riders holding signs that say 'Me, Me, please pick Me!" when the P'Boro job ad appears...
