Typical fucking Tatum....he's done the same thing before. He says one thing and then when he realises that no-one else agrees with him he changes his tune and pretends he thought the same from the beginning. He's a total knob! My nomination is ANY dickhead who thinks riders are above critisism becasue 'if you've never ridden a bike you can't critisise a rider'. FUCK OFF! Lupus, For once, we agree. I dislike being told "You've never ridden a bike". So bloody what. I've most to god knows how many meetings and spent tens of thousands of pounds following speedway - I think that entitles me to an opinion and gives me a fair idea of what is going on I second your nomination.

Kelvin Tatum MBE seems to be going to ever-increasing lengths to be more annoying than the screaming imbecile.

I'm going to nominate Steve Skerry from the Mirror 30/06/2008 for this piece of jounalistic crap! The Brit, 30, reached the final on Saturday night for the first time and looked destined to win his first Grand Prix in 65 attempts in front of 40,000 screaming fans. WTF! - Snotty was never going to Beat Crump, Hancock and the anti Christ Pedersen...! What a wanker!

I'm just glad the team of Kelvin & Jonathan Green has been split up. Pearson is more knowledgable, and knows what he's talking about.

Sub, I tend to base my own experiences above a load of unsubstantiated tittle-tattle through a third party on the BSF. And, in my experience, Ben, his mum and his dad are thoroughly charming and decent people.

please elaborate Big Dave. Must admit I'm not a fan of Barker after he dropped Reading in the shit at the last minute earlier in the year. Had agreed terms to ride for Reading this year, was coming up to Smallmead to sign paperwork etc & be announced at Fans Forum in the evening as our first signing for 2008 but called Wellie about 4 hours before the Fans Forum was due to start to say he'd changed his mind. Glad Reading have sold him, jumped up little prick believes his own hype far too much. Wacks, sounds like load of sour grapes. You can't expect Ben to show loyalty to Reading, he never actually rode for you. In fact, Reading turned his whole 2006 season upside down a month before it was due to start. Ben Barker and his family are great people, and he is a top prospect. Not sour grapes at all Genghis, he may be a decent enough rider but there are others out there with far better prospects than him. His 2006 season had nothing to do with Mark Legg or Malcolm Holloway who he basically shit on at the start of this season. He doesn't want to ride for Reading - fair enough, but why go down the route of agreeing terms & arranging to turn up to a fans forum then decide to change his mind at the VERY last minute - that's what pissed me off, don't think it impressed da management much either. A side from that, and following on from my nomination about the anti-boo boys on BSF, it also gets up my nose when you read "he's a great bloke, as are his family" stuff about speedway riders. TBH I couldn't give a shit what a riders family are like. It's not them who are lining up at the tapes is it. I can say that my family are great, lovely people. Doesn't stop me from being a right bitch at times though does it.

Sorry but that's bollox, Ghengis your slipping back into your old Oxford spinmaster mode. Reads to me that the comments on that particular thread are first hand experiences from Saturday night and substantiated by more than one person who were unfortunate enough to be sat near Barker.

From reading some of my posts, some people might think "that Genghis is a right wanker". Or maybe from the odd meeting when I start to get a little animated. But of course, everyone who meets me (I hope!) knows that Genghis is actually fluffy and cuddly.

Wacks, if you only be first hand if YOU yourself had experienced it. You're basing your judgment on something else has said on something of an unreliable forum (the BSF).

But likewise, if we are to believe you aren't we also basing our judgement on something someone else has said? I generally take most things with a pinch of salt on the BSF, but the posts which have been made regarding Saturday night seem genuine enough & have been backed up by other witnesses too. That whole thread leaves a bit of a bad taste in your mouth. Seems Cardiff is becoming more of a beer jolly than a sporting event these days. I'm all for people enjoying themselves and if they need to get pissed to do that then fair enough, as long as it doesn't ruin anyone elses day. We've not been for the past two years after being unfortunate enough to be sat next to a group of pissed flapperjacks who kept throwing their beer over us & the kids. Thankfully the stewards saw I was on the verge of losing it big time with these grown men as I was the one sat closest to them and stepped in offering to move them. As most of our row was soaked in beer, I got them to move us instead (nice seats in the pit pass area) but the fact is we shouldn't of had to move in the first place!

Seems Cardiff is becoming more of a beer jolly than a sporting event these days. Wacks, to be honest, that's exactly what it is. People go to Cardiff for the atmosphere and sense of ocassion, to meet up with mates and to have a few drinks. Nobody goes for the racing - which, to be honest, is quite poor. The racing at Somerset puts Cardiff completely in the shade. Cardiff is one big jolly piss up.
