I appreciate that it seems arbitrary and inconsistent. So, do you want a similar agreement with the polish authorities, a rephrazing of the current agreement between the BSPA and SVEMO or the scrapping of the whole thing?
I must say I find it strange that british speedway would want to ban a rider for a whole year just for opting to ride somewhere else in a fixture clash situation. After all, british speedway creates most of theses clashes with it's scattered and multiple fixtures.

I think few would disagree that the fixture list shouldn't be rationalised, but it's easier said than done. Unlike Poland and Sweden, British speedway is limited to when the stadiums are available, and these days it's often second or third behind other sports. Furthermore, the traditional of 'weekly' home meetings means that it's simply not possible for all tracks to race on the same day. British speedway has undoubtedly been the master of its own downfall over the years, but signing riders who go AWOL when it suits, is no way to run a sport.

Well, it seems to me you're stuck between a rock and a hard place then. Either change the fixture list (even though "impossible" for various reasons) so that it's appealing to riders. OR continue to dwindle away. At the moment I don't know how you can expect complete loyalty from riders - it's an impossible situation with 3 or 4 different employers all demanding their services - and arguably the least important one, who also pays the least, is demanding the most. What would you do if you were the rider?
