I bow to the superior knowledge of Macattack when it comes to Swedish sensations. But isn't Forsberg a team mate of the mighty Tomasz Gollob at Vastervik in Sweden. But if he isn't in that queue to get into the team at Wimborne Road, how good can he really be?

Yes like you say "how good can he really be?".Just to say i asked the swedish guys on the BSF who would feature in the Swedish U21 squad this year and Billy was one of the riders i mentioned and(i think)Anders also mentioned. The thing is though that i think everyone agrees that the current crop of youngsters are not the strongest that Sweden has produced. The top talent of Lindbäck,Lindgren and Jonas Davidsson have moved up.I was impressed with Simon Gustafsson, not so with Freddies young brother Ludvig Lindgren.I can't honestly see Billy or Ricky Kling being anything more than reserves or second string riders. The same with Lakeside interests Andreas Messing + Robert Pettersson. They are all about the same level as Eric Andersson. So apart from Gustafsson + maybe Jonasson i think the next star from Sweden is a youngster still in the 80cc class Anders Mellgren. He did look impressive. And maybe keep an eye out for Dennis Andersson who has just moved up to 500cc

Mind you, it looks very much to me like Billy Forsberg just defeated the former British champion and Kylmakorpi in Ht 10 of the Hammarby versus Vastervik meeting in Sweden tonight, while team mate Tomasz Gollob brought up the rear. And repeated the trick of beating Kylmakorpi in Ht 11.

Hell,i'm certainly not infallible Just my hunch that he won't be much different to Eric Andersson and won't be a new Lindbäck.But what do i know?.For instance there is no way i would have thought Tobi Kroner would be up to Elite standard. He was always a bit behind Hefenbrock,Smolinski and Matze Schultz. And i wouldn't have thought Claus Vissing would be able to hack it in the Pl,but he seems to be doing well so far.

Your the man can u give us the low down on Billy Billy rides at reserve with Skornicki. James Wright hasn't been at reserve since the first set of averages came out. The way things are going at Belle Vue Skornicki will be at reserve the rest of the season.

Billy picked up his first race win for the Aces on Monday. In heat 14 he partnered Kevin Doolan to a 5-1 over Piotr Swiderski and Richard Hall.
All evening Billy was battling and looking for opportunites to pass but with the Belle Vue track being as crap as it is there was none.

Tonight's score against Reading: 7. Billy Forsberg - 3,3,2*,2,1,3 = 14+1 I guess you'll be trying to keep hold of him for next year, youngy.

The way things are going at Belle Vue Skornicki will be at reserve the rest of the season. Not quite. The boy blunder Antonio Lindback has replaced Skornicki at reserve - an illustration of just how poor Lindback has been this season.

That's "replaced" in the loosest description of the word, right? Just as Lindback is a "speedway rider" in the loosest sense of the words at the minute.

Yes, indeed, it looks like tonight was the night Billy Forsberg came of age. With Forsberg (in this form), Doolan (in earlier in the season form) and Steady (in his best form) Belle Vue do actually have the basis of a good, young side. The question is, can they find another four riders over the winter to support them? Personally, I hope so. It saddens me to see this once great club riveted to the bottom of the league - let's hope they can unearth a modern day PC in the not too distant future.

It appears Billy has withdrawn from the Swedish junior individual championship this evening. Hope it's nothing serious, both for Billy and Belle Vue fans.

Billy crashed and withdrew from the Swedish National Championship too. I don't know the extent of his injuries but he didn't ride at Belle Vue last night, we used Adam Roynon.

Right, I know Billy was born in 1985, but can anyone tell me his birthday please? And before anyone asks, no I don't want to send him a birthday card.
