Have they not retained the system from last year? That's to say the league splits into two after the regular season and then you have two mini-leagues, with one block of four chasing medals and the other block of four fighting relegation?

Looking at the fixtures scheduled it's not the case. Gorzow are due to ride against Rynbik now twice on the trot at home the next two Sundays. Seems it went 1v4, 2v3 and then 5v8, 6v7 with 1th, 2nd, 5th and 6th have the advantage of riding at home twice. Weird.

To add with the winners of these best of 3 semi's going to a final which also best of 3.

So, we're underway in Czestochowa in the re-arranged fixture between the Lions and the Bulls of Leszno. No Leigh Adams for Leszno and rider replacement operating for Jaroslaw Hampel. For Czestochowa there's no Richardson or Lukas Dryml, both having prior commitments in the UK. Ulamek rides, but so far it doesn't look like he should've bothered. It doesn't look good for Czestochowa and one wonders how the management will take it? This is, after all, the management that refused Walasek and Ulamek permission to ride abroad after a similarly dismal performance a couple of years ago.

I think Kennett was using his Leszno engines again.

I think Kennett was using his Leszno engines again. Don't think Polish clubs will touch Kennett once he's no longer classed as a "junior". Not unless he discovers the secret to riding those big tracks.

Could do with some pre-season training in the Winter in Poland. Hopefully next season with me being a decent job I can make many weekend/day trips to the tracks of ELiga. If the rumoured Bydgoszcz team is on the cards, I think I'll buy a season ticket.
