But what about the teams for Thursday?? Crump, Pedersen and Iversen are racing at Peterborough Thursday Since the BSPA and SVEMO have an accord, I'd imagine that the Swedish play-offs will rank higher than the Craven Shield and the meeting at Peterborough will be "make do and mend".

Yes they do. Watt in for Jason apparently. May also affect Chris Harris though I'm not entirely sure if he'll have a choice and come home - if he wants to.

Can one of our Swedish friends let us know what's happening with the other meeting please? My German isn't great and it's the only way I get by. But looks to me like the meeting tomorrow could have been declared a walkover?

Dackarna versus Hammarby (26.09.07)4..Ht 8 and Nicholls replaces Nilsson in a tactical move by Hammarby. What an inspired decision that was. Tee hee Mrs Miggins, tee hee.

And it looks all over, bar the shouting, in Malilla, where Stockholm require 5-1s in the last six heats to draw the tie on aggregate - not going to happen, is it?
Edit:
A third successive engine failure for the former British champion - unlikely to go down well with his Swedish paymasters.

A fourth successive engine failure for the former British champion - what a joke.

Well bad night for both mine and Eriks teams.
I am gutted that Hammarby will not be making it to the final. I guess a big reason for that was the reliability of someones equipment.
Vetlanda has a large hill to climb tomorrow, can it be done? I think they can keep it close we are much weaker at reserve and having THJ in the second string. Maybe we will be lucky and Harris will ride in england tomorrow.
Come on Vetlanda!!

And with six heats out of the way in Vetlanda, it's not looking good for the home side. And the mighty Gollob's only had one ride for Vastervik so far.
Edit:
And with ten heats down it's still looking good for Vastervik. The next heat is, of course, the second reserves race and a probable heat advantage for Vastervik, which will pave the way for Crump to replace Jonasson in Ht 12. But it all seems a bit hopeless for current champions Vetlanda.

And after Ht 13 Vastervik are through to meet Malilla in the final - will they push on and take a win on the night, or will they settle for what they've got?
