BFD - I think the most amiable way to continue this discussion is over a few drinks, so any chance that you can make Coventry on February 9. P.S. Trying to be serious for just a moment, while this is promoted as a place for free speech and all that, surely certain standards still apply - i.e. you can't come on here and insult everyone - it's just not cricket mate (and yes I know I've know let myself open to how much better Australians are at cricket than us useless Poms!!). At least all your F1 drivers are pants. ;D ;D

Fair enough, bloke. I just get upset at the constant slagging off of people from BSF, most of whom aren't members here so ergo lack the right of reply. I feel there's a few on here who can dish it out but can't take it back, like some Aussie Cricketers alas. When I was invited to participate on this board the chance of Free Speech was touted as a reason, now it appears to me that it doesn't apply to those not in the favoured few as it were. There are no limits, or standards as you term them, on Free Speech, you've either got it or you haven't. Don't think I can make Coventry, altho' if Sandie's there she might be able to explain the Darwinian mindset, but I'll be off to Adelaide at Easter for the Oz Sidecars Champs and associated Alcohol Bath, if yer fancy a few!.

Everyone's entitled to say what they like, just some shout louder than others.

BFD - I actually quite agree with the pre-occupation with the BSF on here, indeed I have voiced the same opinion in the last few days. This is a forum in its own right, but some treat it just as a place to slag off the BSF or the Ipswich forum or... and so on. Still, if think if you come on here and say "you lot are sad" or words to that effect, then you are going to get some sort of backlash. As for free speech, does it actually exist anyway? It certainly doesn't exist in Britain, and we're supposedly a democracy (although in reality, we're not).

I can't wait for the Pigs to walk upright! BFD - I actually quite agree with the pre-occupation with the BSF on here, indeed I have voiced the same opinion in the last few days. "Free Speech - One Each" I should imagine it still exists at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, but that sadly is about it. As you say I certainly did expect a Backlash of sorts, and it went roughly along the lines I'd anticipated. Sad but true. Some of the Slaggers-off seem totally indiscriminate: everyone's out of step except them. Its so easy to make smart-arse comments about someone else, particularly if you run no risk of ever meeting them. Anyhow, I've got a life fortunately, unlike one of me M8s Jimmy who's just been given 4 weeks; he'd beaten Throat Cancer but it came back and bit him in the Lungs instead. 56, same as me, and of a similar mindset, so he's off to the 4th Test at Adelaide, dunno how he'll go but; last time I was at the Adelaide Oval (for a 20-20 match earlier this month, may the Gods forgive me) the choice was Mid-strength or Light, and Jimmy loves his heavy. PS: I think BigFatDave is worthy of a nomination given his comments above. (It's not Dave Pavitt is it - he's big and er..rotund and er...called Dave?) Who gives a flying fuck who Dave Pavitt is? I think I'd like to see you try and eat Corn on the Cob with No Fucking Teeth, Pal. Have a nice day.

my fan club secretary would have to be young, female, preferably blonde with a trim figure but big boobs and there's me thinking that all fan club secretaries have to be fat, loud, and ugly as running the fan club is the way to get 'in' with a rider. that's how it looks anyway.

Apologies if this is slagging off members of the BSF ;D but...... two nominations from me. Pinstripe and Jasper, both prats of the highest order. I hope neither win though because they'll no doubt enjoy the attention of being Flapperjack of the week, which is probably why they post their inane, idiotic ramblings anyway.

My advice to young pinstripe is stay away from Cumbria - lady s can hit and hit hard, as I know from experience. And I hadn't even upset her.

It seems not only is Cumbria a no-go area for the prick, but so is Hertfordshire, Kent, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire..........and that's only to my knowledge. It could be an interesting GP in Cardiff this year.
