Someone seems to be keeping him up to date with the postings on here though Mick Bratley ;D Well, Mr2awards, according to the aforementioned Mr. Bratley, there's only 12 of us who could be responsible for keeping Nigel Pearson up to date... I bet you regret the day you said that to Planet Speedway.

I would like to nominate Mr High & Mighty Tsunami for calling Peter Oakes a prick on the BSF. My point was that there is a proper way of doing these things for the mutual benefit of clubs and the sport as a whole. There is speculation, which is fair do's, but announcements annoy me. At the AGM, there is an agreed embargo of things discussed so that the press release is the first offering. The usual suspects have to leak info during the AGM and dash back at breakneck speed to be the first one with the news at their fans meeting. When that happens, you know you are dealing with a right prickOh the irony of it that Adolf Turner issued me with a warning for 'personal abuse' aimed at the high and mighty tosser only 24 hours previously. Hopefully Mick Bratley will make Peter Oakes aware of this in the same way he (allegedly) keeps Nigel Pearson 'in the loop'.

Funny isn't it Kev that at a recent guest speaker night Peter mentioned that he specifically asked himself not to be issued with the minutes of the BSPA conferefnce because of his role a journalist & how that could be misconstrued,Tsunami is wrong cos i heard it with my own ears.

Well I'm intrigued. First Mick Bratley appreciates the humour in his flapperjack award, and now Nigel Pearson wants one for his CV. I'm just wondering how far this is going to go. Can flapperjack go global? Is it possible it could actually be "cool"?

Having a flapperjack award and a Mutts Nutts award is like receiving a knighthood. You may call me Sir 2awards, if you wish. Can I make a nomination, or is that not allowed. By the way, Nigel Pearson is more Jack Flapper than Flapper Jack, although I probably shouldn't say that. Bugger.

I would like to nominate Andy Tomlin, sometime chairman, owner and mouthpiece of the 57th biggest lift company in the UK, for being "The Know" on the BSF.

I think it can be viewed in the same way as an ASBO - most of the general public do all they can to avoid them but the element that they are aimed at actually see them as a 'badge of honour' perhaps?

That has nothing to do with what club is speaking to what rider and that's what Tsunami was on about and if you read the BSF you will see I agreed with him. Peter Oakes should know better than to put information about possible signings in national newspapers before a club has tied up the deal.
