How about " A wean in a manger"? Another thing I forgot to add, was that nobody was allowed to take photos of the 2 plays either. PC brigade, just because you don't want to offend the minority, you are certainly pissing off the majority!

Apparently it's becoming increasingly difficult to buy cards expressing the sentiment 'Merry Christmas', as many card producers are using 'Seasonal Greetings' so as not to offend non Christians.............the world we're living in has really lost the plot!!!!

I'm having a lot of trouble getting "Merry Saturnalia" cards this year. I blame everybody else.

My main gripe is there was no Away in A Manger/ Once In Royal David's City/Little Donkey, because we have to pander to the PC brigade, who don't want to offend those who don't want to partake in the festivities. You are Flapperjacks, one and all This country is so fucking weak we cow tow to all the bloody PC brigade As far as I know this country is a Christian country therefore should be allowed to celebrate in the Christian way they have always done. If I go to Iran/Iraq to name but a few I don't expect them to change the way they celebrate their faith/religion so why the hell should we have to If people who flock to this country to live here don't like it then fuck off back to where you came from

Bloody Immigrants, Eh? Back in the good ol' days before the Romans there weren't any of these problems. ;D However all the johnnie-come-latelies wanna impose their own personal beliefs, especially the fucken Christians!! I'd like to nominate Jesus as Flapperjack of the Week. Its all his fault.

And once again, can you specifically point to a single place where this actually happens (i.e. not hearsay from the Daily Mail)? Anyway, I think Lord Flapperjack himself may be up for another nomination... colpanthers.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=chat&action=display&thread=1197585732&page=2

I posted this on the BSF but here I can use the type of language that this warrents... Andrew Jackson was a grasstrack rider and second halfer at Wolves amounst other places. He sadly died in August this year at the age of 32 from cancer. He has two young children (one aged 10 and one less than a year old). Last week some complete and utter flapperjacks broke into the garage of the pub he used to run with his wife and stole his bikes. His van has also been broken into since his death and the indications are that the people knew what they were looking for. Now if those bastrads don't qualify as flapperjacks then I don't know who does!

I heartily agree.

As far as I know this country is a Christian country AFAIK, most people don't go to church at all, and are probably atheist. I therefore find these sudden apparent conversions to Christianity all somewhat miraculous. [Apparently it's becoming increasingly difficult to buy cards expressing the sentiment 'Merry Christmas' Apparently? Clearly you buy a lot of Christmas cards then? Why not just walk into a shop and find-out? In fact, don't bother because I had to write a load of them today under duress from 'er indoors, and I can assure you there were plenty of Merry Chimbles amongst them. As for 'Seasonal Greetings' cards, well they've been around as long as I can remember.

I was merely quoting something I heard on BBC local radio - I really can't be arsed to quantify everything they say, it really isn't top of my priority list.
