Bully boy, get out of my way I'm coming thro type of riding will only get you so far IMHO. As you say Sub, in EL racing you might get extra points. In GPs you have to use your head. Just my opinion and one I'm most unlikely to change ;D

He was bloody lucky that the referee excluded Laukkanen anyway - I thought Nicholls caused the stoppage. But you're right. On a decent track riders of the calibre of Gollob just aren't in the slightest bothered by Nicholls barging desperately around.

Sky actually made mention of this experimental engine in one of the earlier GPs in the season. They even named who had put it together during that previous coverage, but unfortunately I have completely forgotten who it was. My apologise's young Henry, but I must have missed that earlier GP where it was discussed and I had not heard it mentioned before all. I was not aware of it until tonight the Sky cameras gave a glimpse of it. Very interesting development perhaps at this time though of course nothing is new in this game.

So can we assume Lindback has made a remarkable recovery and has deemed himself fit for this one? If so, what are the chances of him aggravating the injury and pulling out at Wolverhampton on Monday? It looks very much like Lindback did deem himself fit enough, but we'll wait and see what Monday brings, although I suspect it won't bring Lindback to the Aces. But, they'll get a facility, if they give the correct handshake.

Pure comedy from Nicki with the ref ;D Should have just gone into his corner and sulked. Having said that he was probably the best rider there again and had he got into the final i think he would have done better than Hans. Bjarne seemed to be fighting for his points more but Lindbäck?I am beginning to wonder if he is on a one way road to early retirement.Lidgren looks like the likely replacement next year even if he doesn't get through at Vojens

we watched it back late last night, I'm feeling very unwell today so I'll be brief some great races, thought Gollob was brilliant, we had the usual frustration's for the terminally deluded well done Leigh Adams. Nicki was Fenced by Hans( bit of Irony there).. I thought for a while Sub's prediction for Jagus to win was going to be right

Didn't see it live either Jacques and kept dozing off when I was watching the recording last night. But did see some fantastic races when I was awake.
Gollob is a pleasure to watch when he's in that kind of racing mood. Andersen (and Nicholls) looked desperate & wreckless during most of his races, but to be fair didn't do anything Pedersen wouldn't have done in their semi-final.
Felt a bit sorry for Lindgren, yes he was the cause of the stoppage in the first semi final, but the poor bloke had no where to go after being squished by the two danes.
Pedersen had me in stiches with his comments, glad to see that even after spending a fortune on a psychologist/coach he can still lose it at the drop of a hat when things go against him. ;D
Good win for Adams and good to see Gollob & Crump joining him on the rostrum.
Probably the best GP of the season for me so far.

Like the Gollob of old tonight.A pretty good meeting i must say He went to Poland and back on some corners (so did Harris quite superbly against Hans) and superbly outrode Nicholls. When the track is right, he's a marvel to behold and did make me consider that Malilla is very similar to Bydgoszcz. Good GP - if I was fuming at the naivety of Harris and downright stupidity of Nicholls at times.

Think Tatum's got that one right - the former British champion slightly fortunate to get away with it and Laukkanen unfortunate to be excluded. Or Colin as Millard named him!

After the snoozefest that was Prague, this was a very good GP indeed with a number of excellent races. Gollob showing he still has it in bundles and it was excellent to hear him talking positively about wanting to get into the top 8. The GPs (when raced on decent tracks) are so much better for his presence and his battle with Adams in the qualifiers was superb. I guess as Hampel will likely get a wildcard nomination for next year thanks to his injury Tomek knows that he'd find it difficult to get a get-out-of-jail card if he fails to make the top 8. Can't see him doing much in Latvia if the track is as bad as it was last year (no outside line for the majority of the meeting), but at least he has Bydgoszcz to go for and I'm sure even Tomek will bust a gut to get his hands on $100,000 in Germany. Nicki again head and shoulders above everyone in qualifying until he appeared to lose the plot in the semi-final with a few uncharacteristic errors. I still think it would take an injury for him not to be world champion this year. Even though Adams won the meeting he still only made up a very small amount of points on the runaway leader. Lindgren again showed that he can compete at this level despite his tender years and I hope he manages to make it through the qualifier, though I'd say there's every chance he'd get a nomination if he didn't make it (but like Gollob it will be a concern as AJ would surely get a wildcard if he fails to make the top 8 on return from injury). The nominations this season could be rather interesting, to say the least. I expect young Gollob, with Bydgoszcz and Krsko still to come will have plenty of good chances to get into the top eight again and if he doesn't, I'd say it should be up to him what happens. With the continued nominations for the former British champion it would make a mockery of the GPs if Gollob were pushed aside having failed to qualify just once. However, if he doesn't hit the top eight, maybe Gollob himself will decide to call it a day. Much depends on the qualification final, of course. I suspect the Kasprzak and Lindgren are earmarked for the GPs in 2008 and rightly so. But will they qualify from Vojens, or will an Olsen track gift the Danes a clean sweep of the qualification process? That's entirely possible, although BP and Iversen clearly aren't up to it. I fancy that Bjerre, Kasprzak and Lindgren as the top three in Vojens would suit everyone fairly well. If they don't, well that puts pressure on the nominations. Zagar certainly shouldn't be sleeping too well and Lindback is surely dead and buried as far as next year's GPs are concerned. There could be an awful lot of riders looking to those four nominations, especially if, as I expect, Jonsson, Hampel and Nicholls fall outside the top eight, while Gollob and Jagus manage to get in. And let's not forget young Jagus. I think he's had a splendid GP series, apart from the odd blip here and there. He would most certainly be higher up the standings if it wasn't for the untimely intervention of Nicki P in Eskilstuna: Jagus had 7 points from 3 rides and was leading his fourth race when Nicki P clattered into him. He'd have made the semis, no trouble. And with Eskilstuna being his home track in Sweden, who knows what he might've achieved.
