Totally agree. Nicki was the deserved winner, but I can't help wondering how things would have panned out had Andreas been riding, mainly because there was hardly any racing. Still, should be some interesting developments in the GP competition. Hello I'm back... ;D....bloody right gal, just wondering what I'd have scored had I still "been in it to win it"... Actually I don't care too much..I feel properly vindicated......not bad for a dork with a poorly tummy eh?

Well..... ...I sorted it with Steve so you're still in it, using the bets you placed before you went away. He asked me if you wanted to play and I said yes - hoping you'd be okay with that. You're currently third - check it out. If you let me know your future choices I'll send them to him and keep you going, okay hun?

Just finished watching it on me SkyPlus, only took me an hour coz it was so boring i fast forwarded most heats, apart from the ones that involved nicki p or scotty. Boring grand prix but a great great 7 heat maximum win Nicki P ;D ;D and an ok 4th place for scotty Put that with the Eagles somehow beating Ipswich it's been a weird but great night for me.

Well that was a waste of 2 1/2 hours of my life last night - how bloody boring. I hope when IMG take full charge next season they realise that they can't produce an exciting produce that is going to get spectators/viewers hooked on race tracks prepared like that, or as Jacques pointed out like Vojens a couple of weeks ago. Congrats to Nicki though, can't see anyone stopping him this year now unless he picks up an unfortunate injury. Was very disappointed with Gollob. Looked onto of his game & on top of the world the same time last week, maybe his international swan song was SWC? Doesn't look interested in GP's outside of Poland anymore. Sorry to say Sube, but even if he qualified or was offered a wild card for 2008 I can't seem him riding in the GP's next season. Equally disappointed with Matej, two superb wins in his first two rides, but his next 3 off the outside gates made him look as a effective as Gollob did. Still one consolation is even with him looking like a shite junior he still went one better than His Royal Hansness and made the semi finals. Finally, best wishes to AJ, that looked like it really hurt. Edit: Forgot to mention how sick & tired I got of hearing of Scotty's food poisoning by the Sky team For fucks sake, what the hell did he eat? I had food poisoning last year, was even hospitalised for a night, but 2 days later was back eating normally & feeling fine. Pissed off now, realising I could have possibly had a good week off work with that excuse.

As I said earlier Wacks, Gollob's only really interested these days if the track is to his satisfaction. And judging from the couple of heats I saw in the repeat, last night's track was far from satisfactory. In fact, it was disgraceful.

My first post - and it's a whinge. After the Festival of Speedway that we were treated to at Leszno last weekend, again Prague serves up crap, but this time it's even bigger crap than it usually is. I've been there twice and the racing has been dire, but at least it appears to have been relatively safe (and I include the rain-delayed meeting in that). I've never had a speedway meeting affect my mood in such a negative way as last night did. Even young Jarek getting the runners-up spot didn't lift my gloom. How can my hero Gollob go from god on a bike (which he was imo last Saturday) to someone who isn't prepared to race (his approach to the first bend in his first couple of rides last night was tentative to say the least). The answer of course is the track and it was pretty clear to see that guys like Gollob and to a lesser extent Adams just aren't prepared to put their necks on the line when these are the tracks they are given race on. From comments by riders relating to practice the track was in a bad way on Friday as well. Interesting to read Kasprzak's comments in the star about IMG wanting the Leszno track harder than it normally is. No doubt who is driving that. Clearly no-one is going to get their way on this matter other than Olsen and until he departs the scene then he'll probably ruin more GPs than he saves. Rico

Finally, best wishes to AJ, that looked like it really hurt. "After the fall in his fourth race Andreas went back to the pits on foot but was taken to hospital later on. Unfortunately, the first diagnosis says AJ has broken his shoulder. Now Andreas is going to Sweden to have an operation there." From: www.ajracing.se which, unfortunately doesn't seem to work for me.

Works for me, he said boasting. A lot of very well made points in young rico's post. If that's the best Prague can manage, it should be fucked off. But that won't happen. Prague is about the only GP set in an internationally recognised "great" city.

What a shocker this was! Came back off my hols to watch this dirge.
A number of things got up my nose in this GP.
Awful, awful track - IMG if you want a GP in Czech, please put it at Pardubice.
