According to Speedway Updates, it seems Josh Auty is a bit of a "copulator".

I should probably add that I am glad that the meeting at Coventry happened or everyone would think I was insane with my previous comments about a certain Mr Gizatullin.

The Russians just looked over-awed last night, although Roman Ivanov's 1st-2nd turn move in his opening heat was superb. I think the Russians will have learned an awful lot last night. And they're straight into the SWC proper for next season, I believe, with the Americans having to qualify. A final note on last night: how bloody wide is that Leszno track?

Good warm-up for Boycey and the Boys, now they all know their way around Leszno. Never change a winning team - I see a few well-developed anti-Schlein chips-on-the-shoulder in this thread - leave team management up to the Face and concentrate on what youse Poms do best - whingeing about yer own side!! Come on Dave leave that sort of comment on the BSF.Thought you was above making those sort of comments.I watched a speedway meeting and made some comments based on what i had seen.I certainly ain't anti-Schlein.Just for me he didn't look like he will be able to make a good contribution against tougher opposition.Same goes for Gollob. While i wouldn't consider myself to be his greatest fan i do think Tomasz is one of the best and most exciting riders of the past decade.Despite that i wonder if he can still do it out there on saturday. If i was the manager i might be thinking of putting him at reserve and if one of the other riders isn't up to it on the day pulling them out "injured" and giving Gollob 3 or 4 rides. If you don't like people making comments and giving opinions then you are in the wrong place because that is what i am here for ;D.Plus i did say i am glad i don't have to make the decisions

Gollob was, however, second top scorer for the Poles last night, although, in fairness, they were all around the same. I'd certainly think of dropping Kasprzak before Gollob, even if Leszno is Kasprzak's home track. I reckon ALL the Poles have to lift their game by around 20% if they want to win, although I understand the draw has favoured them with the Blue helmet colour.

Just to my way of thinking and being devious i think dropping him and then bringing him in later(and lets be honest if a rider says they can't carry on is the Doctor really going to not sign him off.....this is speedway!)for 3 or 4 heats would be of tactical advantage.Plus if he isn't needed than all well and good.Be a brave and maybe stupid man to do it though ;DBut i do feel Poland need to make a change to win it

as previously mentioned,i quite like the current gp scoring system, and don't have a problem with the unpopular double points rule in the elite,i do however have a major problem with the ludicrous joker rule, for a competion that only has four meeting's why the hell do they need a stupid rule to keep tv viewers interested.

Maybe Poland think they are gonna lose and want to have a Norwegian scapegoat ready ;D They've got the favourable blue helmet colour. You not heading over, young fellow? I see Mateusz is heading over to Leszno early tomorrow morning to sample the "atmosphere" (read piwo for atmosphere).
