Just posting so Matt doesn't think he killed the thread. I'll leave you boys to it. Thanks Paulco. Thank You (I knew the sig change would work) I notice even in the Erik thread a couple of posts have disappeared so that I'm still the last one in there! *edit* To get back on topic, we have the look of a good cup team and have every chance of reaching the semi's. It's worrying that the league form has dropped off though, very similar to last season when we fell from top to miss out in the play offs i have lumped on your brummie boys to win at bristol rovers @7/2 -1,looks an outstanding bet to me matt.

A day of surprises in the FA Cup as both Manchester United and Chelsea bite the dust - Manchester United losing at home to Portsmouth and Chelsea falling at Barnsley. i have to confess to being delighted to see the back of the big two, however in the cold light of day the possibility of an fa cup final between something like barnsley and bristol rovers, would be a disaster, for the competition. personally i think a portsmouth west brom final is the best we can hope for,and could at least be an exciting encounter. just about to start is the tie between the pride of the north east and the pride of wales. this has been a bad weekend for english sport, with only millwall(at swansea) and the millwall supporting david haye giving britains premier country a sense of pride,so come on middlebrough dont leave it all to SE16

Just got in - absolutely f****** shocking. Never seen a worse performance in my life and we got what we deserved. They played us off the park and could have been 3 or 4-0 up by half-time. 1st goal looked a blatant handball from where i was sat and the 2nd was s**tty defending once again. We looked short of ideas and Rochemabck was fighting a lone battle, Arca has been cack for weeks now and should have been taken off instead of O'Neil or Alves. Never been so depressed coming away from a Boro game, we blew the best chance we will ever get. God knows why im still going to Villa on Wednesday

Now you know how I felt when we fell to the mighty Wycombe, it's been all downhill from there and I am hurting.

Yep Got the tougher draw of the semi's, with our habit of not defending set pieces very well their 6 foot army may benefit but it will be good to see how we perform against a decent prem outfit

Liked Derek McGovern in The Mirror yesterday with "There is now a real chance of an all-Championship FAC final which would give record viewing figures for BBC2.
