I'm glad ours is down or I'd be searching for Bratters "What's special about Lakeside" posts as well as enquiring what's going on. There's carnage going on at Lakeside, which isn't unusual for Panthers but is extra worrying at the moment.

Bit off topic but may well be of interest to Jive and SL is that the local paper in Lynn (Lynn News) has started printing individual posts on the Lynn Football forum (which I think is unoffical but has certainly got some 'close to the board' members) in a 'letters' type section in the paper I hope they don't ever reproduce any of my posts in their newspaper. AFAIK my posts are my copyright and they ain't gonna get permission to use them Oh for the days when journalists actually got off their arses and went to seek out news instead of waiting for it to be delivered to their inboxes.

Forums are what I feel promoters love to read - Waggy and Brian Griffin were great fans of them, but sadly the minority always make the headlines and the promoters take more notice of them rather than the more positive posters. That's because, by and large, the positive posts get ignored. But express your opinion as being Rider X could have done better and you'll get jumped on by his die hard fans (and yes, I do it with Nicki all the time.) That in turn leads to a reply (usually a disagreement), then another, and it takes over the thread - meaning the majority of posts seem to be moaning, complaining, or disagreeing. It's not necessarily a bad thing - it's all opinion, after all. Just some take things more seriously than others.
