Mauger possibly the luckiest rider ever. He could psych out anyone, probably why he didn't get on with Briggo or Olsen. Not so sure about this statement For one thing,ok every rider needs a bit of luck. But Ivan was just so thorough in his planning.Every little detail was thought out. As for not getting on with Briggo and Ole.Well he was business partners of sorts with Briggo.Taking speedway tours to far flung places. And he took Olsen under his wing in Oles early career at least. Not sure if they had any barneys later on though.

To watch it had to be PC. More to speedway than getting out the start.
Similar to Hendry, Davis, and Reardon in snooker, great title gatherers but boring as fuck to watch, give me Alex Higgins, Jimmy White, O,sullivan anytime.
So Mauger for pure achievement, but if i could go back in time and had to pay, who would i pay to see, Peter Collins no question.

All of these we're great riders but you only have to look at my signature for my answer. ......and before some daft fucker says it no it's not B.A Barracus. Nigel could beat anyone on his day & not from the gate either.

Nigel could beat anyone on his day Yeah, I've heard he had an agressive streak. Seriously though, I remember watching Nigel when he rode for Canterbury shortly before emigrating to Australia. To be fair, by that time he was well past his prime, but I don't remember him being fantastically entertaining.

I always have the greatest respect for Anders Michanek (Sweden) in this era. And what about the all-round track talent of different formulas of Germany's Egon Muller?www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxsdbnUKkEU
