Not long to go, and a reminder that this meeting is on Sky on Thursday.
I've not heard anything for certain, though there have to be some doubts about Hans Andersen taking his place in this meeting now.

Denise and myself may make our way down to this as I told Sky Rocket and Steve Hone today at the Lincolnshire Poacher meeting. Will not bring the prints though this time, just be spectator's and not trade, (of course also just make another pig's ear of the simple task of filling in a speedway programme.. ) Anyone else going? (No point in trying to record it on Sky too Schumi.... I have given up on that now...)

We will set off early and spend some time in Lynn and have a general look around. I do not have a Danish flag SR, I have Swedish and Russian ones. Should I bring those? ;D What time does the gates open?

I am not sure, but it might maybe a good talking point: 'why is that f**king idiot got Russian flag'. ;D Then I can say perhaps it because I have not got a Danish one of course.

There are quite a few impressive historic buildings around the town (not much else of any note ). The Custom House, Guildhall, Town Hall and Nelson Street are all withing 500 yards of each other but well worth looking at if that's your thing. In fact Lynn's buildings are on a par with York, we just don't have the reputation, there again we don't have the masses of tourists either True's Yard Museum gives an excellent account of Lynns historic fishing industry and well worth a visit if you have more time and is within half a mile of the other places I've mentioned. Might be worth having a look round www.west-norfolk.gov.uk/Default.aspx?page=21941

OK, will do thanks for that information SL. Can you recommend a decent pub in Lynn for a cheap and cheerful meal like 'wetherspoons' and their two for one deals?

Not sure if they do 2 for 1 but there is the Globe Hotel (think it's a Wetherspoons) on the corner of Tuesday Market Place, about 5 doors up from the Guildhall. Don't try the Dukes Head on the opposite side, expensive and IMHO over-rated. Tuesday Market Place has a few nice buildings around it too. On the north side there is one with a diamond on the wall which is said to mark the spot of a witches heart that flew from her body when she was burnt at the stake There are a couple of pubs serving food in the town centre and I'm also told that the Silver Spoon, tho not looking too great, does good food but it's not a pub. I rarely eat out in Lynn itself so can't recommend anywhere except the Globe. Anyone in town looking for a good chippie, Toffs in Norfolk Street takes some beating. Maybe if you or others think eateries are worth recommending they could be added to the track Info threads.

I look like a f**king idiot - flag or no flag - whereas you don't. That's the difference. ;D Or lets put it as simple algebra: 10 Sky Rocket's with Danish Flag = 1 Jim Blanchard's with Russian flag. ;D ;D ;D

Zagar won't be riding in the ELRC on Thursday, he apologised to the Reading crowd tonight for not being able to make it due to him being involved in a re-arranged play-off meeting in Poland the same night.
Ekstraliga meeting will also rule out Kolodziej so if Reading are represented I take it it will be Trav flying the Racers flag.

There's also a Swedish article saying Hans will "try and ride in England on Friday", which suggests he won't be at this meeting.
