........ has been named as the Morarch's first signing for next year. Apart from the fact he's an Aussie, I don't know a lot about him.
Can anyone give us some details of the lad please?

Rode a few times for the Monarchs in the season just past , before he went home at the beginning of August . Was starting to look quite promising at that point - in fact one of his final matches was a conference league meeting at Stoke (for Buxton i think ) where he scored 19 points . Starts next season on a 3.00 average , and it worries me a bit cause i think we'll see him progress as the season develops . He's 19 i think and has British parentage hence the 3.00 average .

Excellent memory, Paulco. He spent 6 weeks at Edinburgh during which time Kenny McKinna made up a machine for him to ride. He had a few outings for Edinburgh at reserve during which he had a heat win over Tomas Suchanek but he also rode for Buxton as Paulco says and did indeed score 19 points at Stoke for the Hitmen just three days before he went home. This included a last heat win for a 3-3 ahead of Barrie Evans and John Branney to win the match for Buxton by two points. His Mother and Grandfather (I think) were born in Aberdeen giving him his British patriality. The improvement he showed in just six weeks was very impressive and Edinburgh would have been crazy not to pick him up on a three point average for next season.

What puzzles me, is why young Aaron returned home just as he was entering what seems like, a rich vein of form?
Pre-booked flights maybe?

He only came over to test the water but was desperate to stay on beyond his six week stay. However I think he'll benefit from going home on a high - just after his performance at Stoke. I'm sure it left him with a huge appetite to return to Britain next season.

And of course the Glasgow promotion will monitor his progress , on our feeder track , with a view to him becoming a Tiger in 2009 .
