THIS IS CURRENTLY ON THE CLUB WEBSITE:[ PORSING TO GO OUT ON LOAN Written by King's Lynn Speedway and posted on January 21, 2016 King’s Lynn asset Nicklas Porsing will race for Peterborough in the Premier League this year after agreeing a season-long loan deal from the Stars. The relationship between the two clubs is at an all time high with Young Stars manager Dale Allitt also in charge of the Panthers in a joint managerial role. Porsing is not the only King’s Lynn rider to be on loan to the Premier League side this year, Simon Lambert will also race for the Panthers as they look to improve on a solid 2015 season. Allitt believes the move to the Showground will not only benefit Porsing, but also the Stars in the future, he said: “Nicklas is a quality rider and by giving him a chance in the Premier League we feel he will improve greatly this year. He likes the Peterborough track and I am sure we will see him challenge for the number one spot. Allitt added: “It is only a loan deal to Peterborough, so I can see Nicklas back in the Stars colours in the future.”/i]Attachments:

SIMON Lambert has taken the decision to defer his Testimonial meeting into the 2017 season.
Lambert had initially earmarked a date of Sunday August 28 for the event at King’s Lynn, but a review of other meetings that weekend including the National League Pairs at the same venue on the previous evening has promoted a re-think.
Lambert said: “I’m obviously disappointed, but trying to set an alternative weekend date for later in the season would be problematical because of the unknowns of the play-off situation, so it has made sense to defer the meeting to 2017.
“Hopefully, we will be able to stage the Decennary at Lynn at the start of next season, which should help us in terms of rider availability with the season not fully underway.”Attachments:

KING’S Lynn are set to make a team change for the closing weeks of the Elite League campaign – with club asset Nicklas Porsing (in photo) returning to the side.
Porsing, who rode for the Roger Warnes Transport Stars in 2013-15, is to come in for captain Rory Schlein, who will be released and made available to other clubs.
The Australian has found the going tough since after his return from three months on the sidelines with serious shoulder damage earlier this season – following on from last year’s career-threatening back injuries.
Schlein will make his final Stars appearance of 2016 in the away match at Wolverhampton on Bank Holiday Monday, before Porsing returns for the home clash with Lakeside on Thursday.
Co-promoter Dale Allitt said: “It’s never nice to have to make this sort of decision, especially when we all know what Rory has been through over the last couple of years and how hard he’s worked to get back, but there’s no doubt it has been difficult for him.
“We hope he gets fixed up elsewhere, and we would like to place on record our thanks to him for still making himself available to ride at Wolves despite being informed of the change.
“Our alternative on Monday would have been a Premier League six-pointer so we do appreciate the fact that he has agreed to do that meeting.
“Nicklas missed out on a team place over the winter but he’s still our asset and a rider with a great deal of potential. He’s available for our remaining fixtures and obviously it gives him the chance to stake a claim for next year as well.”Attachments:

From the SGB website::: :::::::::: KING’S Lynn have appointed Dale Allitt as the man to take them forwards in the 2017 SGB Premiership.
It comes following a re-structure of the club which sees Rob Lyon take on the day-to-day business at the Adrian Flux Arena while Keith ‘Buster’ Chapman will turn his focus to his role as Chairman of the British Speedway Promoters’ Association.
After managing the Young Stars in the National League, Allitt is no stranger to the club and has a vast amount of experience in his favour.
Allitt is confident he can put that to good use and says he’s excited to test himself in the top tier of British Speedway.
“Myself, Rob and Keith spoke at the beginning of the season and we discussed a few possibilities and it was always the plan for me to be involved a lot more this year,” Allitt said.
“I was at every Elite League meeting except one at Poole and I was very mindful of the fact that despite my year with Peterborough in the Premier League and my experience and relative success in the National League, I needed to mix it at the top to get used to being involved at that level.
“I’ve had a good apprenticeship with the Young Stars, basically running that team on my own for the last five or six years, and from that point it’s a natural step-up.
“The role is obviously still very similar, you’re just dealing with different people, different personalities and with the greatest of respect, different egos, attitudes and approaches.
“However, I have developed plenty of man management skills during my time at the club and managing in the top division is a role I’m relishing taking on.
“Shadowing Rob has been invaluable and I’ve certainly picked a lot of things up in 2016.
“It was a difficult year for the club and we had some tough calls to make but in the long run it could benefit me as I make the step-up to team manager in the top flight.
“I’ve had a few other options and opportunities in the last couple of years but King’s Lynn is the place I’ve always really wanted to be.
“I understand there’ll be some people who’ll have reservations about me being appointed team manager in the SGB Premiership, however I just urge the supporters of King’s Lynn to give us time, get behind the team and give everyone a chance to show what they can do.
“It’s not like I’m a stranger coming in with no experience behind me; some people may actually be surprised with how heavily involved I’ve been over the years.
“I’ve always been involved to a degree with the Stars in the Elite League because when the Fast-Track scheme was introduced, as manager of the National League Young Stars, it was natural for me to link up with Lewis Kerr and Lewis Rose as well as Rob Lambert of course and be helping them at both levels.
“I’ve stood in for Rob Lyon on a number of occasions and even in the season just gone, I was there for that win we got away at Belle Vue which was probably one of the highlights of our season.
“I’m just going into it with an open mind, I’ll always be willing to answer any questions supporters have and I’ll be happy to explain things from a team manager’s point of view if they want to challenge any decisions over the course of the year too.
“While myself and Rob have got a proud, relatively long history with the club, we’re viewing this as a fresh start and a new era for the club.
“We’ve got a fantastic working relationship, and we’ve probably spent more time with each other than we have with our own wives this year!
“We’ve dedicated a lot of time and effort into making sure we get this right and I can’t wait to test myself at the highest level of British Speedway.”
Allitt has also described his time as Young Stars boss as an enjoyable period of his career.
He said: “I’ve loved every minute of working with the Young Stars and I’m proud of what the teams have achieved down the years.
“We’ve won the Pairs, we’ve got to Play-Off Finals and Knockout Cup Finals and on the budget we run on I think that’s a remarkable effort.
“Financially, our National League team isn’t going to compete with some of these other clubs who are now racing at that level.
“While success would be nice, our aim each and every year is to bring on some young, British lads and I think it’s fair to say we’ve done that!
“We’ve brought riders on who have since gone on to be big talents in both the Premier and the Elite League, and on a miniscule budget at that, and that’s something to be proud of as a club.”

From the SGB website: ::::: KING’S Lynn have made Danish ace Nicklas Porsing their first signing ahead of the 2017 campaign.
The 23-year-old has appeared for the Roger Warnes Transport Stars in each of the last four seasons and will make a full-time return next year.
Porsing scored 15 points in two appearances for the club in 2016 – and despite seeing his late season comeback affected by injury he has done enough to earn a spot in their starting line-up for 2017.
Arriving on a 6.99 average, Porsing is delighted to be back in Norfolk and has his eyes set firmly on helping the Stars launch a bid for the SGB Premiership title.
“I’m really pleased to have signed with King’s Lynn,” Porsing said. “I wanted to be there from the start of last season, but it didn’t really work out with my commitments abroad.
“When I signed for Rospiggarna in the top league in Sweden for next year, it made coming back a perfect fit so I’m looking forward to it.
“When you ride for a team you really like, you not only want to do your best for yourself but for the club as well.
“King’s Lynn don’t belong towards the bottom of the league, they belong in the play-offs and I hope we can get back there this year.
“My goal is just to score as many points as possible to help the team be successful and be up towards the top of the table.”

From the SGB website: ::::::::
KING’S Lynn have revealed they will be reverting back to their Wednesday racenight for the 2017 season.
Club bosses have acknowledged the confusion caused by this year’s fixture list and are keen to avoid a repeat next year.
They will use the occasional Thursday as an alternative where necessary.
Said co-promoter Rob Lyon: “The fixture list was a nightmare last year and made it difficult for our sponsors and supporters alike.
“By switching back to a Wednesday we should be able to have regular racing at the Adrian Flux Arena. We will, of course, need an alternative at the request of TV and in the event of rain-offs but hopefully this will give us more consistency.”
Lyon said the team building is also taking shape with more names to follow after the weekend announcement of Nicklas Porsing.
“We are progressing nicely and we know the shape of the team we want,” he said. “It’s coming together and we should have a clearer idea by the time we meet fans on December 16.”
The club are hosting a Fans Forum in the stadium function room on December 16 and all are welcome.

From the SGB website: ::::: SIMON Lambert has set the date of Sunday March 26 (2pm) for his ‘Decennary’ Testimonial event at King’s Lynn.
Lambert is an asset of the Stars having ridden at the Adrian Flux Arena either for King’s Lynn or Boston across seven different seasons, and he now races at nearby Peterborough in the Championship.
He is now planning for an early-season event after putting back initial intentions to stage the meeting last August.
Lambert said: “Decennary originated from Latin as an old English word for ten years or decade. It’s different, it’s unusual – and it’s hopefully memorable too.
“Technically, I should now really be going with the equivalent for eleven years, but Undecennary doesn’t have quite the same ring, does it?
“The meeting should have some great racing, with a bit of fun and nostalgia thrown in for good measure.”

KING'S LYNN will welcome back Kai Huckenbeck to their side for the 2017 SGB Premiership campaign.
The 23-year-old returns to the Adrian Flux Arena for a second successive season after his attitude and determination impressed club bosses - particularly towards the end of 2016.
Stars team manager Dale Allitt is adamant Huckenbeck will show his true potential in 2017 after experiencing a big learning curve in his debut season in the UK.
Said Allitt: "I think Kai would be the first to admit he found things difficult from time to time in 2016.
"However, it's never easy in your first year in a new league yet he still showed us glimpses of what he is capable of.
"He's been to the majority of tracks at least once now and he knows what to expect when he goes back there next year.
"Towards the end of the season he displayed a real desire to improve and a change of equipment did him the world of good.
"He had some good meetings with some good scores under his belt and I think we'll see his true potential next year.
"Even despite the change to the averages rule this year, I feel he is someone who can improve on his considerably and I don't think there'll be too many riders where that will be the case next season.
"We stuck by Kai and persevered even when he was finding things tough because we know what he can do on a speedway bike. I think he showed in the end that we were right to do that and I'm confident we'll reap the rewards in the long run.
"Team plans are going pretty well behind the scenes and hopefully it won't be too long before we've got our full side in place and then we can make it known to our supporters."Attachments:

From the SGB website: :::: KING'S Lynn fans will get first news of more signings for the SGB 2017 Premiership season next week.
Stars bosses have been working hard on team building since they unveiled Kai Huckenbeck and Nicklas Porsing last week and are set to bring more news to supporters when the club host a special winter talk-in at the Adrian Flux Arena next Friday.
Co-promoter Rob Lyon said: “We're looking forward to a good turnout of supporters next week. We feel it's only fair that the fans get to hear more news first and we look forward to seeing everyone.
“We're still trying to tie a few loose ends up on some issues but hopefully by next Friday everything will be in place. If we cannot announce the rest of the team, we will certainly be in a position to announce some riders.”Attachments:
